This is a beautiful, well thought out bed and breakfast truly built as a labor of love. The warmth of the host, Don Hubbard, is evident in the care and attention he gives to every detail of making his guests comfortable. The location is very convenient and there is even off street parking. We felt like family in Don's beautiful...

A native New Orleanean, my husband and I returned to New Orleans for Mardi Gras for the first time since moving away in 1989. We booked a room at Hubbard Mansion almost a year before 2015 Mardi Gras and had a long time to look forward to it. They did not disappoint! The innkeeper Sheila was warm and fun and...

Don Hubbard's mansion bed and breakfast is not a misdescription. It is housed in a faithful recreation (fifteen years old) of a substantial Greek revival town house on St. Charles Avenue, in the Garden District, and was recommended by Tulane University where my husband was giving a lecture. In addition to its wonderful decor, with antique furniture chosen by Don's...

My husband and I were able to stay an extra night following a convention I attended in the French Quarter so we sought a place to stay outside the Quarter. Our first choice bed and breakfast was full; however we found Hubbard Mansion. WOW! What a find. Normally bed and breakfast's require 2 night minimums but they allowed us a...

My wife and I were once again able to enjoy the hospitality and experience of staying at the Hubbard Mansion. This was our second stay at the Hubbard Mansion and both stays were wonderful. The location just outside the Garden District and closeness to the trolley makes getting around very easy. The house has beautifully maintained large bedrooms downstairs with...

The hotel has a interesting space on the second floor which is good for small parties of less than 70 people. The food served was interesting. The guest rooms are spacious with a very small television. The location on the trolley line is great.

We spent a 4 day extended weekend at this lovely mansion which far exceeded our expectations. Not only is the mansion beautifully appointed, it is spotless and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and well supplied. We shared a delightful breakfast each morning with the other guests and found ourselves lingering...

My wife and I spent four delightful days and three restful nights at the Hubbard Mansion during summer 2014. We enjoyed a romantic and wonderful time at this very well appointed, very clean and current bed & breakfast. Proprietor Don Hubbard was an absolute delight. He is a direct-speaking gentleman and some find that off-putting, but we appreciated his directness...

My wife and I have enjoyed the Southern hospitality demonstrated and shared by the owner while staying at the Hubbard Mansion! Every year we visit the Essence Jazz Music Festival and as our choice of a hotel is overwhelmingly the Hubbard Mansion. I would recommend staying there for anyone who would want to get a taste of what New Orleans...

We arrived on a freezing, cold night in New Orleans, at the end of January, traveling from Europe, and were welcomed into a beautiful oasis by Don Hubbard, the owner, who settled us in. This was our first trip to New Orleans, staying at the Hubbard Mansion for four nights before a cruise. What a delightful visit this was. The...
