Room was clean, hotel was quiet, free parking, free breakfast, the streetcar was right there. Comfy bed with lots of pillows, hot water under pressure. Would give it 5/5 but housekeeping skipped me one day, got some towels from the front desk, plenty clean ones to start with and the ones they gave me were good, too. The toilet seat...

Stayed again at the Queen Anne, part of the Pyrtania hotel group in New Orleans. These group of three near hotels are incredibly unique and offer a great experience at a reasonable price. Management is very personable and responsive and take great pride to making sure their guests are treated as such. Convenient to downtown and one block from the...

My daughter was getting married this weekend and we booked quite a few rooms at the Queen Anne, Prytania Oaks, and Prytania Park hotel. Customer service was awesome! They have a continental breakfast. There are nice courtyards to visit with others. So peaceful. Close to St Charles and the trolley and also many restaurants. It was wonderful for my family...

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights on an anniversary trip and loved it. It was surprisingly quiet in the house & the room was comfy. A key is required to get in thru the front gate, thru the front door & of course, into your room, so it is quite safe. Breakfast is just across the street...

Everything about the Queen Anne suited us perfectly. The house is amazing and our room was beautiful. Lovely features throughout the house and so quiet. We were on the 2nd floor at the front and although you can hear the road a little it did not bother us. The neighbourhood is lovely and we felt really safe walking around even...

I stayed here last year during the essence festival weekend and I loved the location and the privacy. Loved sitting on the front porch in the mornings and late afternoon. It was close to the streetcar line and tons of restaurants, bars, and just places to shop. I will be returning this year for the essence festival again and yes...

My husband and I stayed two nights for our anniversery. We arrived early and they checked us in , no questions asked or charge. The staff was very helpful, providing maps of the area. The Queen sits around the corner from the main hotel where the check in was. This did seem weard, but it was like a friend giving...

We stayed here over the weekend of the French quarter fest. Great location on the St Charles trolley line which gives access to all the bits of NOLA you want to see. This hotel is one of 3 situated in close proximity to each other and you have to check in at the main hotel. It was slightly strange not...

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
