As a "homeless" New Orleans native following Katrina and my parents selling our beautiful childhood uptown home just off of St Charles Ave, I most definitely prefer the charm and character of historical homes. O'Malley House did not disappoint! Brett was so welcoming and friendly it truly felt like I was just at home. The delectable hot breakfasts sealed the...

The owners of the O'Malley House Bed and Breakfast were so welcoming and helpful! The house was clean and cozy. It was a short uber ride to Bourbon street so we were able to experience New Orleans night life but we weren't overwhelmed by it because we could return home and relax on the front porch or back patio. Staying...

I chose the O'Malley House because it came highly recommended for quiet, romantic, and convenient stay. My wife and I were celebrating our tenth anniversary. This bed and breakfast definitely met and exceeded our expectations. Brent was informative and an excellent breakfast chef. Larry was a charming host and easy conversationalist. The streetcar stop is less than a block away...

A great time. The host was very knowledgeable about the house and New Orleans. The location of the house is perfect due to being away from the busy section of the city, and the street car was within a short walking distance. I would highly recommend the 1896 O'Malley House.

The crew at the 1896 O'Malley House are magnificent and we're very accommodating with my delayed arrival. The house is a large beautiful Victorian masterpiece with lovely paintings and decor. The rooms are large with very high ceilings and never ending hot water for the shower or jacuzzi tub. Breakfast and coffee was available at 7 ish leaving us a...

This is not my first, nor my second visit to the 1896 O'Malley House. I must say, every time I go back I wonder why it took so long between visits. The owner, Larry, greets me like family. I have stayed on both the second and third floors, and I honestly have no preference. The rooms are big - but...

We stayed 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The whole house is beautiful, charming and comfortable all at the same time. Larry (owner) is a gracious host who makes you feel welcome the moment you arrive until the day you leave. Brent (manager) is a great source of information for whatever experience you are seeking in NOLA besides creating...

My husband and I have come back to the 1896 O'Malley House year after year including when it is Mardi Gras season. I ride as a member of the all-female Mystic Krewe of Nyx, and my husband rides in Endymion. Our favorite room is the Waterford Suite since it has the largest private bathroom with an over-sized whirlpool tub/shower combo....

What a beautiful place, in a great location access to good local restaurants, public transportation (trolleys) that can take you to the quarter and back. Staff is more then accommodating to your needs... and the home is absolutely gorgeous... I travel 200 days out of the year and gave up hotels a couple of years ago for B&B's this one...
