The location is great. Park has spacious, paved spaces. It is clean and offers pool, hot tub and outside bar area (not staffed) with TV to watch, laundry room, fitness room and meeting room for working quietly (with sink area). The park is gated. I felt safe enough, but it is basically in a rough area. Off/on to I-10 is...

We came to NOLA for a family wedding at the Art Deco Lakefront Airport venue. Wanting to experience as much of the city as we could, we chose this location. While it's a little hard to find the first time, you'll easily find your way home thereafter. Spacious sites, a lovely reception, exercise, morning coffee, bathhouse, laundry and pool/hot tub...

Location near the French Quarter is the biggest asset of this rv park. It has real nice, spacious lots and security is good enough that we felt safe there. Staff was very friendly and helpful with maps and advice on where to go and what to see. The biggest negative is the inflated charges they charge during big events. We...

1st of all, Love the French Quarter RV Park, however; didn't love the surrounding location. Staff was polite, Park was very clean, finding location is a little harder then before. Basin street isn't made for 40 ft. Motor homes, with traffic allowed in both directions. Although, RV park is only a couple of blocks from French Quarter, we walked into...

Inside the brick walls was very nice. Spacious lots, all pavers. Staff super helpful, laid out a map of where to go, what to see, called us a cab, set up a tour. Very nice pool and hot tub in court yard. Grounds keepers kept place immaculate. Only issue is the interstate noise. Very loud. And ambulances and police cars...

If your a camper/RV owner, this is the best place to stay will visiting New Orleans . Great location and you don't have to pay park if your in s pull behind. Tons of amenities and very safe and secure. Close walking distance to the French quarter. Well worth the $105 a night.

Well worth the money. We dry camp mostly so $106/night is a bit extreme. Entire park is well landscaped. We used Uber and our own bikes for transportation. Far South of the highway is the "quieter" than the noisy north side. $6 - $8 Uber will get you anywhere in the French Quarter. +- 52 sites total. Prices skyrocket for...

We were here for one night, and it is the most expensive RV park we've ever stayed at, but we really had a great experience. We were able to have a nice dinner in town, walk the french quarter in the morning and have breakfast before leaving. The park itself is quite nice. It's right off I-10, so very easy...

Would stay more often if it wasn't under the freeway since the road noise is more than we want. Good proximity to everything we wanted to see and do but when you're in an RV you honestly don't want to hear so much road noise.

Staying in Treme

Neighbourhood Profile
Treme
That sound? That flavor? That certain je ne sais quoi that lets you known you’re in “Nawlins” and nowhere else? It’s all good and in broad abundance on the streets of Tremé, where so much of what’s considered to be the very best of New Orleans culture and tradition is, put simply, just how people go about their daily lives in this historic part of town. As one of America’s oldest African-American neighborhoods and among the nation’s first established residential areas for free people of color, Tremé’s significant heritage and contribution cannot be understated. This is especially the case when considering some of Tremé’s most famous residents, most notably jazz great Louis Armstrong. For full flavored food, funky and jazzed up music, and vibrant street life presented with homegrown pride, you can’t beat a visit to Tremé.
