This resort has a great location right of Canal. We couldn't believe the great location. We enjoyed a continental breakfast on Sunday, but due to tours, we missed Monday and Tuesday activities. Victor greeted us at check in, when our flight had been 1.5 hours late, and he said, well, you're here now!! That made our night. Our room was...

Our room was 410, at the rear, top floor. We really liked our little kitchen with all the needed additions. The suite could accommodate up to six, but there was just three of us, couple and friend, and it was very adequate. The front desk and housekeeping were all super folks. We stayed over New Years eve. What we really...

Loved this place. It has so much charm. Rooms and beds were lean and very comfortable. The staff were great and extremely friendly. We went down on a family vacation and our sweet worked perfectly. Great spacious kitchen and bathrooms enough for the three couples that went down. The location is perfect for the French Quarter and is so close...

We stayed in unit 118 and 4 of us were comfortable. Staff was awesome, especially Amy at the front desk when we checked in. Loved have our own washer and dryer in the unit. I was worried that it would be too noisy given the units location, but was pleasantly surprised. The only issue we had was a visit by...

We were booked through RCI to stay for a week at the Avenue Plaza in the Garden District. We notified the property twice that we would be arriving a day late evening. It's not like a hotel where a booking is sometimes unpaid until arrival. It's not as if we were a no-show. We were paid up in full for...

The resort is in the style of the French Quarter. Rooms were comfortable, clean and convenient to the attractions. Staff helpful and responsive to requests. Courtyard a good place to meet with friends before heading out. I would recommend.

The Quarter House is conveniently located adjacent to Canal Street, the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. It is a short walk to Jackson Square, Cafe du Monde and St Louis Cathedral. Stayed for a week and was thankful for the convenient location which minimised travel time to most places. We stayed in a one bedroom two bathroom unit which was...

We were there for 5 nights in December.'I exchanged my week thru interval and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was nice and spacious. Great shower and water pressure. Beds were comfortable. Lots of space for 4 adults. Very quiet resort. We attended the complementary breakfast and it was great for us. Light continental breakfast. We booked a tour...

We had a suite that must have been built for royalty! Everything was exceptional. But the service was the icing on the cake. Every member of staff was helpful, friendly, gracious, with a special shout-out to Tony, the ultimate "host". The location is perfect for proximity to Canal Street and a walk in the French Quarter. Highly recommended.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
