If you are groovy enough, this is your spot! Meals are available all day long for about $6 or you can use the kitchen to cook your own stuff. Groovy atmosphere. Meet new people. NOT quiet at all.... but really, it's New Orleans, so please don't tell me you are headed that way for some peace and quiet! Various bedding...

The chef does a meal every morning and night and it is sooooo tasty. First come first serve. The rooms are clean...

If you want the real local experience and you're on a budget this place is where it's at. My friends and I reserved a few of the private rooms with bathrooms. Newly remodeled, simple but tidy and a half a block from a trolley stop. The staff were helpful and they had fresh coffee brewing 247! This place is da...

Just what I want when I travel, great location, great atmosphere, great value, The trolley nearby goes most places although it is slow . The Hostel is a series of older houses converted to rooms and dorms. It all neds a bit of maintenance but we totally enjoyed our stay

I stayed in a private room with shared bathroom for 3 nights in August. The room itself was okay containing just a pretty uncomfortable bed and a table, but had good air conditioning and was all I really needed for the time I was there. Its the communal areas are what make this hostel so great and unique! In the...

The place is simple, but very good considering the price we paid. People on the front desk were always very kind and helpful. The hostel offers lots of services, as laundry, kitchen, swimming pool, air conditioner (only in rooms and living room) and wifi, as examples.

Hostel is a great place to stay especially for the price, we stayed in a private room with an en suite. Beds were a little uncomfortable but for a hostel they were fine. Only really annoyance was that some guests got beer in the pool and the hostel claimed they were cleaning it for days on end meaning it was...

The staff and very friendly and helpful. The drawback is that the room is bare bones although you have access to wifi. You will have...

This place has shared rooms, private rooms, they cook for you between 11-1pm for cheap price and they also do dinners for $5 a plate depending on what the meal is.. The place has a pool, kitchen facilities with fridge access, and the wifi connection is...

Stayed here recently and I would not recommend it at all. The staff are lovely people, and it is very close to the street car which is super convenient, sadly that's where the good points end. We stayed in a dorm and it was dirty. The floor was gritty and sticky, the rooms was super hot also. The showers had...
