We stayed here twice during Madi Gras, and had a wonderful time all the staff (especially Zachary) made us feel welcome and helped us with everything we needed. Clean, cozy rooms at an affordable rate. Excellent location for walking around, and exploring! We will most certainly return!

Balcony Guest House suited us very well. It felt very New Orleans. Pricing was moderate and included breakfast. (fresh made, decent, filling, a bit greasy) The titular balcony is a great place to rest and relax between sightseeing. Rooms are perfectly adequate. This is not luxury living in the French Quarter, but rooms are clean and comfortable. The downstairs restaurant/bar/liquor...

Loved the location in the very colourful Marigny, away from the more "touristic" part of N.O.The Balcony Guest House is one of the very charming and beautiful houses. Stayed for two nights. I never got a room with a balcony but got a suite instead. It was December so no problem. As usual a very big, very comfortable American bed....

What a great time. A perfect guesthouse in a great area. Everything was quaint, quiet, safe, respectful, neat, unique, not perfectly clean but perfectly kept, character filled, decorated with thought and artful. The thought that went into creating this space is executed with homey design not to be replicated in any chain hotel, five star or not. A choice of...

I had a great experience staying at the Balcony Guesthouse. My mother and I decided to do a mother-daughter pre-christmas trip to New Orleans and arrived mid-morning. We were welcomed with sunshine, a perfect sized complimentary cocktail and a friendly bartender. We had a phenomenal time and are so lucky to have stayed at the Balcony Guesthouse. It was 5...

BEAUTIFUL find!! I found this quaint, little place last minute when we decided we wanted to stay in NOLA New Year's Eve. I have to admit I was very concerned about this place because I it was off the beaten path, right outside of the French Quarter. My heart was pounding as we rode in a taxi from the 4*...

Amazing stay! The staff were cordial and attentive to my groups' needs, breakfast was great, and it's in a great area. Quiet from the French Quarter but easily within walking distance. Lots of space that made sharing with a group of friends convenient and comfortable. I would absolutely book again.

What a wonderful experience!! I have stayed at the Balcony several times now over the past eight years. I love being able to walk to Frenchman St. and Bourbon St. to hear music and not have to worry about driving or getting a cab back. Zak and his crew always make me feel like family. But this time was the...

My wife and I chose this location for our romantic honeymoon getaway. We didn't want to stay in a typical hotel as the culture of a town is often lost in such establishments. If you're looking for a cultural experience, this is the place for you. With the excellent gourmet breakfast in our stomachs, we started our days walking a...

After a phenomenal experience in 2011, it was a no-brainer to go back on a subsequent vacation. We wever pretty excited to come back as well! In fact, we suggested to family to stay there as well. However.... Well, however. We rented the Honeymoon Suite; we had 4 people. The Suite is up a second flight of narrow stairs. There...

We are very sorry that our guest was disappointed in our service. Due to a maid error, an extra set of linen, etc. was not left in the suite. After several attempts, when I finally reached her, I offered to come back to the B&B, at a late hour of the night, and provide her with the linens. She informed...
