A room was booked through Hotels.com more than a week ago. Last night I received an email from the Owner stating that the room was overbooked and I needed to cancel my reservation. I am now left scrambling to find another hotel or B&B as there was barely any available the weekend are supposed to attend a wedding and there...

We turned up after a 6 hour drive to be told that the hotel had been taken over and that our booking had been cancelled back in August. We were not made aware of this. We were told that they had cancelled people's bookings as they got more money of other people they had booked in. They did however assist...

Three weeks before my trip to New Orleans, Five Continents cancelled my November reservation. The House Manager cited that they came under new ownership and would be operating as a guest house. She also said that they no longer had access to the credit card system used to process my deposit. She offered to send me back my refund via...

I booked two connecting rooms in this B&B 4 months prior to our stay. When I contacted the owner to ask a question, I was told that the place had been sold and that it was being turned into a Guest House. She explained that they would give us vouchers for a nearby restaurant for breakfast. What I didn't realize...

We were extremely disappointed with our 2 night stay at the 5 Continents. This is not a B&B. We were told 2 weeks before we arrived that the original owners sold and it was turned into a Guest House. There was no one to greet us when we arrived. The key was left in the mail box. The new owner...

They prepare an amazing breakfast every morning. This was our first time at a Bed & Breakfast and we were a little concerned about it. They changed the...

I stayed here four days with my sister, mom, and aunt. We stayed in the European suite for our first time in New Orleans celebrating my sister's birthday. It was a very nice room with balcony. I enjoyed the house even though we did not sit in living area or use that area. We had a good breakfast each morning....

We stayed in the Asian suite, a nice and spacious room with access to a balcony. Everything was well kept and clean. The innkeeper Suzi made us feel right at home, she was always helpful and full of good recommendations. Her breakfast was stunningly good, a perfect start into the day!!

This was my third year at the Five Continents Bed and Breakfast and we loved it. The host, Peter is helpful, friendly and an excellent chef. He makes the best French toast I've ever had. We stay here when we go to Jazz Fest. I recommend this place to others who wish to stay in a beautiful restored home with...
