Great room, friendly staff. Within easy walking distances of streetcar, aquarium, waterfront and French Quarter. Also close to several restaurants and eateries. Love the fact they have a guest laundry that is for use by guests. The room has a dishwasher in but no dishwash...More

I'm glad to hear that most of your stay with us went very well. Normally there is a small packet of dishwasher detergent in the dishwasher and a small bottle of dishwashing liquid in the kitchen. I apologize that they missed that in your room.
Really disappointed not to have a safe in the room as we were staying for 2 nights. Room was very spacious, bathroom not so much. Kitchen area and sitting room were well furnished and had fridge microwave, even a dishwasher. Plenty of cooking utensils provided...More

I can't state how much I loved this hotel during my stay. I stayed during a weeknight, and apparently on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings, the hotel cooks DINNER for its hotel guests. And it's all free! We had this amazing red beans & rice,...More

Glad to hear that you really enjoyed your stay with us. If we had free ice cream sundaes at night, I'd be as big as a house, because I'd be in there "entertaining" guests! Hope you get a chance to come back and visit again...More

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
