We have stayed here for 4 days over the JazzFest. The hotel is a bit more centrally located that I thought which is great. The rooms are OK with microwaves, a toaster and a fridge which is what we needed! There are washer/dryers on the 5/10/16 floors which is great if you re in town for a while.

We stayed at the Staybridge March 26th through April 1 and really enjoyed our stay! We had a two bedroom suite which was just perfect for our family - myself, husband, mother and 13 y/o stepson. It was so nice to have the room to spread out and relax in. Staff was super friendly and helpful, storing our luggage prior...

We're very glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself at our hotel. I think the National WWII Museum is the best attraction in the city! Hope you got to try St. James Cheese Company and Lucy's Retired Surfer Bar (two of my personal favorites).

We booked three one bedroom suites for four nights, as we were attending a family wedding in NOLA. Our main complaint was that only one, out of the three suites booked, was ready at check-in time. The other two suites were not ready until past 5 pm...check-in is at 3 pm. This was a major inconvenience. I agree with other...

First let me apologize for the rooms not being ready at our check-in time of 4:00pm. I will pass on your comments to our Executive Housekeeper so she is aware and can take action to improve the situation. We truly appreciate your comments and hope you will have the chance to stay with us again in the near future.

Stayed for 3 nights, first visit to NOLA. Hotel is close to riverwalk in the French Quarter area. Easy walking distance to Boubon St, and Steamboat. natchez as well as french market. Hotel has almost no parking, we paid to park across street. 34-39 dollars for 24 hours. Security at hotel is good. Outdoor pool in small courtyard. Very nice...

t took the reception folks a long time to make my credit card work. At first, they said that the charge was being declined, then it turned out that the problem was on their end. Next, they placed the three of us in a room with one (!) King bed; thankfully, was able to change the room to the one...

We truly appreciate your comments and we do use them to help us improve our service. Parking in New Orleans is a challenge. Our parking garage is usually sufficient to cover our guest but on those very busy "drive in" days, we do fill. The daily rate across the street is just a couple of dollar less than we are....

My boyfriend and I were here for Easter weekend, and we were very happy with our stay at Staybridge Suites. Location is great, across from Mother's restaurant (we were lucky enough to have a view of it & were able to check when there was no line - ha) and a very short walk to the quarter. I also loved...

Good Morning Nicole, We are very happy to here that you enjoyed your stay with us. I will discuss with our Guest Service Manager your comments about the Front Office Staff not greeting you on arrival. That is unusual. I can usually hear them from my office greeting people so I'd like to know why this did not happen for...

Was there for business. The room was large and the kitchen was equipped well enough. Clean. But.... only the piccolo was helpful, the rest of the staaf was grumpy and unhelpful. Did not feel welcome at all. Lots of screaming partypeople kept us awake all nights. Breakfast is not very fresh. Yoghurt from a plastic bag, though some fresh fruits...

For our family of four we usually stay at Staybridge suites, we like the 2 bedroom option. Our teenagers love to spread out and we need all of the space. This location had the similar set up, no real surprises. Great location, close to good food and walking distance to the mall and transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful....

I am sorry to hear about the problems you had with breakfast. We did eliminate the waffle machines and replace them with the pancakes. We received guest comments that, because we can be very busy at times, they could not get to make waffles because they took longer to make. I hope everything else was satisfactory and that you will...

For the prince this Hotel is an excellent choice base on convenience, cleanliness, and location. The continental breakfast is decent for a simple meal and snacks. It will definitely hold you over to splurge on a decadent lunch. The location is close to the French quarters and bourbon street for easy shopping and dinning. You can easily access the street...

For the price this is a good choice--pretty close to all the major sites--reasonable walking distance to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street--not the most classy place and far from fancy but it has everything you might need including a small kitchen in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful in holding our luggage until our room was ready...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
