Stayed there a number of times. The last time was sometime ago, but I will never forget owner's poor attitude and lack of respect for me and my friends.
Before I even got there Floyd managed to exhibit his picayune nature. I called to question...More
My boyfriend and I stayed at Lions Inn in the middle of May. We had an exceptional time. Our room was cozy and comfortable, the service was nothing short of perfection and the free wine and cheese happy hour was a pleasant surprise.
We spent two nights there mid-May and had a great stay. Checked in about 3pm on Friday afternoon. Floyd was on vacation but his replacement did a great job. We sat out by the pool most of the afternoon. There were a few mosquitoes but...More
After reviewing many bed and breakfast establishments on the web, I was so relieved to find Lions Inn. While I knew I wouldn't be in the room a lot, I can't handle the over the top decor so many other places had. Lions Inn provided...More

Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.

We shared a bathroom while there. Not a problem at all - there was a gentleman in another room that shared but was only there one day and we never crossed paths. Actually, a couple of rooms with private bathrooms had the bathroom outside their room anyway. I would use shared on next visit again. Loved it there

"Look exactly at the description of the inn, if you want to get a room with your own shower/bathroom."
