The New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District hotel garners praise for its serene atmosphere and spotlessly clean rooms adorned with comfortable furnishings. The staff's professionalism and warmth contribute significantly to guest experiences, often receiving accolades for their service. Nestled close to the French Quarter and art galleries, the location is a highlight for many. While the rooms are generally appreciated for their comfort, some guests have noted issues with temperature and lighting. From the moment I stepped into the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District, I was met with superb service by Brittany Clark, the Senior Rooms Operations Manager, and Reynard Cheatham. They were welcoming, professional, fun, and made us excited for our stay. I was there with my best friend to celebrate our birthdays and Brittany sent us cupcakes. What a kind and meaningful gesture! She also provided us with great dining and entertainment recommendations and checked in with us throughout our stay. She is the absolute best and a credit to Marriott. I hope they will continue to expand her role, as she's the embodiment of Marriott service!

I stayed on the 7th floor, and my room was spotless! I was so impressed with the cleanliness and amenities. It had a nice-sized closet, a luggage rack, an iron and ironing board, and a bag for laundry service. The bathroom had shower caps, a dental kit with toothpaste and a toothbrush, a hair dryer, tissues, soap, and shampoo. The shower had a handheld attachment and good water pressure.

The living room has a desk and chair, a full-size flatscreen TV, a comfortable bed with pillows, a couch, a desk lamp, a floor lamp, and ambient lighting around the wall near the desk. The side tables next to the bed had a telephone and electric sockets that included a traditional plug and USB charging ports, along with an alarm clock.

The hotel has a bar, which seems very popular, but I did not go to it. There is also a lounge, which is a highlight. It is very well-appointed with water, juice, snacks, fruit, and comfortable tables and chairs. In the morning, it has breakfast service.

The location is wonderful. You can walk to the French Quarter, and most things are within a 10-15-minute taxi ride. The hotel is across the street from the Riverwalk Outlet Mall. We also felt safe. You need your key to enter the hotel from 10 pm to 6 am, and you always need your key to go up the elevator.

If you are in New Orleans, please give this hotel a try!

We were in New Orleans to visit The World War II Museum - a definite must-see for history buffs. The location of this Marriott, directly across from the convention center and cruise ship terminal, made the medium-length walk to and from the museum an easy one. Many restaurants are also walkable from The Marriott in the Warehouse District; the staff provides a list of some of them. My favorite aspect of this hotel is that the floors in the rooms are all very clean, as there is no carpet!

Great service! We have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years and feel this location is among one of the best. From the Valet, luggage assistance, front desk and restaurant staff, it was a great experience. We stayed for two nights, before we went on a cruise. Having been to New Orleans once before we want to stay near the port. The hotel is located directly across the street from Riverwalk and the Convention Center. It’s been renovated recently, has a new feel, and we would definitely recommend staying at this location.

I called months in advance to request connecting rooms. I also called the day before arrival to verify that the rooms were connecting which they assured me they were. When we arrived, the rooms they gave us were not connecting and they said they didn't have any double queen connecting rooms left. This meant our party needed to split up with my husband in one room with one of our children and me in the other room with our other child. No significant perks for Bonvoy members, no complimentary water in the room. We paid extra for the "club," which was just OK, not nearly as well stocked as other clubs we've experienced. The front desk was frequently unstaffed which made communications more difficult. The blanket on my son's bed had BROWN stains all over it - and yes, Marriott, I have photos. After checkout, they sent me 9 (yes, NINE) different versions of our bill with inconsistent dollar figures and erroneous charges, including charging us an "extra person fee" when we did not have an extra person in either room. Overall, the property is poorly managed and lacking in many areas. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Dear TrailBlazer592159, Thank you for letting us know about your experience and for your loyalty to our brand. We sincerely apologize for any housekeeping oversights and for not being able to honor your specific request for connecting rooms, which caused inconvenience to you and your family. We do try to accommodate such requests but cannot do so every time, as the stated room is occupied or unavailable. Additionally, we understand the frustration you encountered due to the billing-related issues. Your comments are significantly important to us, as we always want to uphold the confidence our guests bestow in us. We hope you will give us another opportunity to deliver the service and hospitality you deserve should your travels bring you back to New Orleans. Sincerely, Kait Wurth Director of Operations

Cesar was very hospitable, allowing my wife and I to check-in early. Our room was tidied by the cleaning team routinely each day, adjusting to our fluctuating schedule. No issues with water pressure/hot water for the duration of our stay (5 days). Highly recommend!

We (five adults and one child) arrived on Sept. 1 with three rooms reserved for one night prior to our cruise. We found the hotel to be very clean and modern. It was well located for travel to the cruise terminal, just a short cab ride away, and many were available just outside the hotel. We were also able to walk from the hotel to Cochon Butchery for dinner(highly recommended). The highlight of our stay, however was provided by the Rooms Operations Manager, Rennard Cheatham, and his exceptional customer service from check in to checkout...always kind and helpful.
If you are cruising out of New Orleans, I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is beautiful and the employees are polite and helpful. I was given an upgraded room and they recognize and thanked me for being a titanium member. The M Club is really nice and open 24 hours a day. They offer a very nice breakfast and dinner. Throughout the day you can go into the M Club for sodas, juices, milk, yogurts, water, potato chips, assorted mixed nuts, and granola bars. A very nice pool and lounge chairs are on the third floor. There is a $20 destination fee but, you get a $20 hotel credit every night. You receive gift cards which is $30 off for any New Orleans tour or experience. I use my $20 credit every night at the bar. The bar is super nice and there is a restaurant All of the food looked really appetizing, Every night I ordered the french onions soup, because it was so delicious, along with a Corona. All of the bartenders are very nice and polite. One particular bartender Matt, he was my server on a few occasions, super nice and polite guy. He’s a Saints fan and engaged in conversations about the Saints and other customers conversations. He made certain the television was on baseball playoffs and football. He just made certain we all sitting at the bar was watching whatever game we wanted to watch whether it was football or baseball. He made certain all was happy and comfortable. This is my first time staying at the hotel. I normally stay at the JW Marriott. This is definitely going to be my go to hotel. It’s in a quiet neighborhood. You don’t get the loudness of the Canal Street. Everything is within walking distance, convention center, the mall, and the riverwalk.

The Marriott New Orleans Warehouse Arts District is a great property! The staff are big on customer engagement and friendly. The M-Club staff does a great job of keeping the M-Club clean and they are very punctual with the times for breakfast, dinner, and dessert. For those of us that travel a lot for work having a reliable lounge routine is a welcome bonus! The rooms are nice as well. I was on the 15th floor during this stay and you never know about hot water timing on the upper floors (sometimes it takes a while to get from the boiler room up!), but that was not an issue. Kayla P. and Adam at the front desk and Ms. Lisa in the M-Club did a great job of taking care of every need I had during my stay!

Bottom line, this place is a great option in New Orleans. Will repeat!

We were in New Orleans for my friend's birthday. We stayed 01/30-2/2/2025. The good things: the hotel is across the street from the convention center and the river walk. It is within walking distance to some great restaurants, Bourbon Street, Canal Street, Magazine Street..all of the major streets. It's a 15-18 minute ride from the airport.

The bad things and reasons why I would not book this hotel again: upon checking in I was charged a price that was more than what I booked online, one of the bartenders/servers working the bar area ignored us when we sat at the bar. Once the other young man came over to assist us, he was not as nice to us as he was to the other people sitting at bar. I did not order food because of this. The room had a funky smell when we walked. The bathroom floor was dirty, especially in the corners. The shower was dirty at the bottom, the bathroom door was old, the view was horrible, the was no refrigerator or microwave, there was nowhere to get your own water or ice, and items sold at the bar and gift shop were extremely high priced. We did not use the daily resort fee the hotel charged ( if you don't use it, you lose it). If you ordered food and had it delivered to your room, you were charged a delivery fee.

Dear Bootsybad79, Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s wonderful to hear that the location was convenient for exploring the city. However, it’s concerning that other aspects of your stay did not meet expectations. Providing attentive service and a comfortable environment is always a priority, and guest feedback is invaluable in improving the experience. Cleanliness and service should always meet the highest standards, and it’s disappointing that this was not reflected during your stay. Pricing and amenities are designed to enhance the guest experience, and we regret if they did not align with your expectations. Your comments are truly appreciated, and we will use them to improve. We hope for the opportunity to provide a more enjoyable stay in the future. Sincerely, Kait Wurth Director of Hotel Operations

This place was centrally located in the WD. The neighborhood felt safe and we were able to walk to the FQ within 20-25 minutes depending on where we wanted to be. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were well kept, with a comfy bed and mostly soft sheets. The bathroom was dated, had peeling wood and was very poorly lit. They supplied you with a magnifying mirror, but our room was on the dark side so leaving the bathroom didn't do much good. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we would stay again.

I have traveled around the world and have been to New Orleans multiple times. With all due respect, you don't need a river view if you're staying in this hotel. You're there to be close to the convention center or casino, and dont want to park in the French Quarter (it's a medium walk to there).
Answer from Wanda L

Yes. Right around the corner, however, we preferred walking to the big Walgreens in the French Quarter. Better selection and prices. Laundry soap for free hotel washing machine, diapers, Tylenol. etc

No shuttle that I am aware of. We took a taxi. The fare to the hotel was $43 with tip. On way back to airport, we took an Uber. Much cheaper at $34 with tip.
