Josh was an awesome host, very accommodating, at our disposal for anything. The room was beautifully appointed, comfortable bed, roomy and classic Nola. Great location except for being on a busy traffic street.

I'm sorry about the noise, I've insulated the windows with new soundproofing, but it looks like I need to work on the doors as well. I am truly sorry if you weren't able to rest. Please give us another try, I'll upgrade you to the "garden apartment" in the back of the house!

Perfect location, close to everything we wanted to visit. The property is beautiful and very welcoming. Joshua and his team are great hosts and make sure all the details are taken care of. I highly recommend Blue60 Guesthouse to anyone visiting New Orleans!

We love Blue60. We used to stay in a hotel in the French Quarter when we came to NOLA. That's over now. We love Blue60 and the main reason for that is the owner. Josh is the nicest person. He and his staff care about their guests. They do everything to make their guests feel comfortable and at home. Every...

Joshua is super friendly and helpful. The rooms and furnishings are exquisite. The hot tub on the back patio is a great plus--more intimate and nicer than what you can expect from a hotel. Nice selection of coffees and teas.

My husband and I absolutely adored Blue60. It was like a little studio apartment. Amazing location, friendly folks running it. Couldn't ask for more. Already talking about going back and staying for longer, and also using the hot tub next time!

I've planned multiple trips to New Orleans throughout the years and this has been by far our favorite place to stay. The location is great, the rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and clean, and Joshua (the owner) is an extremely accommodating host. This place is walking distance to the French Quarter and even has a 24 hour PoBoy spot next...

Lovely place. Experience NOLA like a local. Josh is such a great host. The jacuzzi was a treat after a full day of exploration. Trolley stop is less than a block away. Not our first time in NOLA but definitely our best experience.

From the moment we booked we knew we had a winner with this accommodation. Josh is very responsive to ensuring that questions are answered and everything is right. Having never been to NOLA before we took a punt on the good reviews and were not disappointed. The rooms are fantastic and huge with bed and sitting area and coffee and...

Staying in Faubourg Marigny & Bywater

Neighbourhood Profile
Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.

We are surrounded by a wonderful selection of restaurants, small corner cafes with outdoor tables, live music venues, bars, and a world of charm that many tourists rarely get to experience. We have four large guest suites and one guest room, each with a private outdoor entrance, a private bathroom, 48" HD TV with cable, a mini fridge, microwave, CBTL coffee maker with complimentary coffee pods, in-room safes, and free WiFi throughout the property. After a long day exploring, make yourself at home on the back while patio relaxing in our hot tub and listening the rustle of the palm trees above. I share day to day operations with my manager Will Bennett who has lived in the city for over 30 years. We are a just half a block from the new North Rampart Streetcar stop and a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter & Bourbon Street, and 4 blocks from the hottest spots on Frenchman Street. The Marigny has a large selection of restaurants, renowned live music venues, bars, and a world of charm that most tourists rarely get to experience. It’s all within a 6 block radius.
