We had an outstanding visit at the Hilton New Orleans. Great executive lounge and some of the most comfortable beds ever. Staff was super helpful and the corner rooms are beyond spacious. High floors are quiet and just enough outside of the Vieux Carré area to avoid party overdrive.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I would like to inform the General Manager of the excellent customer service I received from Quinashai Watts. As this was the first time I stayed at this hotel as a Diamond member it wont be my last. I arrived early and Ms Watts graciously offer me entrance to the Executive Lounge while my room was getting ready. As it...

Stay over one night, but so much fun. The Hilton was awsome.Comfortable beds, and cleanliness is my main concern and they had both. Plus it was within walking distance to all the fun stuff. French Quarter, bourbon st. And good eats. I would go again.

The hotel is on St Charles Street easy walking distance to the French Quarter, the Mississippi River, the Warehouse District and many fine restaurants and cafes. I took the St Charles streetcar through the Garden District and to the Audubon Park and walked to the World War II Museum. There is a nice restaurant adjoining the hotel "Luke's". Swimming pool...

stayed here in mid-April for three nights. Had extreme temperature issues with the shower so the hotel moved me to a better room, better shower. they allowed me to use the exec lounge while i waited for check-in (i was on the red-eye from OR). they gave me several recommendations for restaurants which were quite good.

My husband and I met friends for the French Quarter Festival. We decided upon the Hilton on St. Charles because it's location is convenient to the French Quarter (walking distances) but just far enough from the loud and rowdy areas. I did the on-line check-in and was given an option up to the 6th floor...since we always ask to be...

This hotel is huge and beautiful from the inside. The windows are very big and one side of the building faces an office, be careful of keeping your curtains open. They have a microwave in the lobby and they sell snacks. The room is very clean and modern. They have parking for an additional charge. This hotel is more like...

As a Diamond member, this is one of if not the worst hotel I've stayed at for customer service. At check in we were not told about breakfast options, and how it worked very differently from any other Hilton branded hotel. We also requested a late checkout, which the hotel not only could not manage, but turned into a full...

Nice hotel with a location in the heart of New Orleans. The hotel restaurant, Luke, is owned by John Beach and food is amazing! The hotel is with in easy walking distance of a lot of the local attractions.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
