Amazing experience!!! From the time I walked through the front doors until I had to leave for home I felt like a member of the family. Thanks for the extraordinary care and service that you provided. I truly appreciated getting the "gold" standard of treatment.

Just walk away from the french quarter on 333 St.Charles Ave is the Hilton which was one of NOLA's first sky scrapers and was once known as the "Mason's"The Old Grand Building. Even today when staying in the restored historical Hilton I could see the original architecture. The entrance of the hotel and the eleventh floor chapel(which Joe the hotel...

The hotel is nice with a great location, but when I went to shower this morning, there was no hot water. I called the front desk, and they were aware of the problem because apparently it happens quite often. The explanation given was that it's an old building and that the boilers can't handle the demand. So I had to...

Great location. DO NOT get a room on a lower floor above the trolley line. Runs all night, loud and shakes the building. I was moved higher up and the other side and it was fine. Eat at Luke's attached to the hotel. Excellent food by John Besh.

Great location. EVERYTHING in walking distance, or taxi, or pedi cab. The staff at the Hilton St Charles is attentive and amazing. We have received great service. The Executive Club was relaxing and comfortable.

The location for this hotel is perfect - on the streetcar line (before it gets filled up), very walkable to the French Quarter, WW2 Museum, etc. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but could use a little more "charm". What really makes this hotel a 5-star was the staff. We travel a lot, but it is (sadly) rare where the...

My family stayed here the week after Christmas, our first time in New Orleans. We prepaid parking at the garage across the street. Be prepared to pay $25-30 a day and there are two entrances. We stayed in an Executive Level King Bed 1 room suite for our family of 4. Plenty of room, and the sofa bed fit our...

My second time at this property. Classy establishment and friendly staff. Rooms are super clean and have comfortable beds. It was nice to have a fridge in our room. Hot shower and free wifi. I'll always come back again and again. Beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.

10/10 in love with this hotel. Not only is it beautiful, but so nice. Room service and workers are extremely kind and there is a convenient lounge on the seventh floor, that provides free breakfast and drinks and food all the time. I will 100% stay here again next time I go to New Orleans.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
