I highly recommend you look elsewhere. We booked this hotel through RCI for a 7-day vacation stay and were immediately disturbed by the filthy, stained, and worn carpeting in the entryway. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath loft appeared to be unkept with visibly dirty bathroom floors and...More
Different but very quaint New Orleans style hotel. It's not a full service hotel. Great location next to Roosevelt Hotel. Only stayed one night. Group of 6 enjoyed our stay. Had everything you need. Close to streetcar & restaurants right by Canal St. We had...More
We were very surprised at the accommodations. We had a loft suite with bed upstairs and sofa bed downstairs. Kitchenette was great. George was wonderful and super helpful. The bar next door was awesome. Location was convenient to everything

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

If I remember correctly, there was a safe in the closet in our room. We never had an issue with leaving things out- even with maid service every day. If you haven't been to New Orleans, you really should leave nice jewelry... More
