Hotel staff were friendly and earthy as well as professional. The place was clean despite its open atrium and clutter of local art and plants. The bed was big and comfortable. The little kitchen and lighting were fairly up to date. Located just right. I would go back. Ask for a downstairs room if you can't do stairs.

When I arrived I wasn't sure about the place. It doesn't look like your average hotel. The mannequin was a little weid. After entering the gate, I noticed the cool pieces of art. The room also had really interesting art. Really cool place, really awesome people.

Long weekend with my husband made even better by this fun and funky hotel and their staff. Huge room, comfy bed, wonderful, large balcony, in the perfect location! We loved all the artwork. This is definitely not the place for folks who want boring, cookie cutter rooms. We will definitely be back!

A great location which worked very well for us. Was close to the action without being right in it. The staff were very helpful and efficient and we enjoyed our stay. The area felt pretty safe and was not really very noisy

Location was great. Staff was very friendly and nice. Decor was funky and fun! Rooms were nice. Did not have to use the kitchenette but was readily available. Probably would consider staying here again when in New Orleans.

We traveled with our 3 teenagers for a family trip to the French Quarter Festival. Our kids loved the hotel - we stayed in one of the family rooms on the ground floor. The room worked great for us. Some of the outside noise was a little loud during the early morning hours (not the fault of the hotel, and...

Perfect for an active couple, looking for a central stay during French Quarter visit. Walked everywhere, stopped by the room throughout the day and night to drop off items or pick up jackets etc. Really perfect!

The staff was Awesome. The room was the best that we have ever stayed in NOLA. It was spacious, clean, great location, New Orleans charm, and the balcony was huge. A Beautiful place. We will stay there again.

This is an amazing hotel to experience New Orleans. Location is about perfect, walking distance to Frenchmans St and to anywhere in the French District. I walked down to Acme Oyster House then back up to the bar area of Frenchmans Street. No parking available so you will have to park at levee and walk back to hotel. This is...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
