Property is unique with tons of New Orleans French Quarter charm. There are courtyards all over the property with tables and chairs to gather in, although it was a little cool for that during our stay. Our cottage room was across the street from the reservation desk, but not inconvenient at all. The room was just what we needed although... More

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Check in was a breeze. We had asked for a room with a king bed and was provided with what seemed like a suite. It was a very large room with a bar area, fridge to host friends. The bathroom had a shower and jacuzzi tub. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows could have... More

This charming hotel is actually a small group of old creole cottages. The location is perfect; an easy walk to everything in the quarter. The lobby is spacious and well appointed and the free breakfast was nice. Check in was smooth. We stayed in the building across the street from the lobby. Our room opened onto the street which we... It was a great location, and it had the feel of what it was: an historic building that once housed the New Orleans Jazz Museum. Had lots of great photos of Louis Armstrong and great instruments hanging on the walls. Great breakfast and coffee daily with great service. Our steward Dawn was very helpful and polite and kept us in... More

Our family of four stayed here for five nights. There were some issues with our first room and once we brought them to hotel staff attention we were moved to a more suitable, spacious room. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is fresh and always topped up with juice and food. Location was fantastic! Walking distance to everything in the French Quarter... More

We stayed in A cottage. It was clean and comfortable: The staff was very helpful. The room was a bit loud. I will request a courtyard room next time i stay. The cottage i stayed in faced Burgundy so it was a bit too loud. Staff was extremely helpful. The courtyard is really nice.

What an a beautiful place to stay. Friends and I stayed 4 days and 5 nights. Everyone, with one exception was beyond wonderful. A new young lady with long black hair, works the day shift and lets just say, she shouldn't, her customer service skills are non-existence. However, one monkey doesn't stop the show. EVERYONE else from housekeeping, groundskeeper, maintenance,... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel St. Pierre, with its authentic French Colonial cottages dating back to the 1700's, embodies the architecture, romance, and ambiance of a bygone era. Contributing greatly to the hotel's charm is the relaxed atmosphere of this quiet residential section of the French Quarter. One would never guess its proximity to world class dining, culture, and the lively nightlife of Bourbon Street. Secluded lush tropical courtyards, balconies, pools, and fountains help make this the perfect spot for a family vacation, romantic escape, or storybook wedding, as well as for incentive trips, reunions, and family vacations.
