Just simply the best hotel we had in our 2 week vacation . The Hotel is centrally located, very clean rooms, friendly and thoughtful staff. I seldom give a perfect score in my hotel surveys but Bourbon Orleans is an exception, I will definitely recommend them to our family and friends,

Our suite with a balcony overlooking Orleans St. was wonderful. Everything was within walking distance. Staff super friendly and helpful. Fun little bar, complementary drinks upon arrival. We will definitely be back for our next trip to NOLA.

The people and the hotel are wonderful Beware of room 235. It is RIGHT across the street from a bar that played music that shook the window until 5 a.m. every night we were there. The hotel was totally booked so we were not able to switch rooms until Sunday. Sunday night was the only night I slept during our...

The location can't be beat, in the heart of the French quarter. The walls are thick enough in the higher numbered rooms to drown out the Bourbon street noise. The pool is semi salted and heated; just lovely. The bar has world class cocktails. The only reason we didn't give it an excellent rating was the cleaning crew always forgot...

located on Bourbon Street in the heart of all of the action. Rooms were great - mine had a small balcony over looking a side street. The staff was very attentive. The food was good and well priced and the bar was great - live jazz music at night.

The Bourbon Orleans is a nice older hotel, its clean and the staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are on the small side, but have everything you need to make your stay memorable. We were on the 5th floor with a view of the pool area. We didn't spend much time in the room as there is so much...

We've stayed at the Bourbon O every January for many years. The bellmen, front desk, bartenders, housekeeping, and everyone else are very nice. It's a very pleasant place to stay. It certainly is right in the middle of the Quarter. Great location. We have never eaten there. They do have a huge coffee pot out every morning with Community Coffee....

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
