Beautiful hotel in the interesting French Quarter! Very good customer service from all staff we interacted with! Each day our room was cleaned well and hotel policy was 4 bath (big) towels instead of usual 2! (Very Handy for long hair and more frequent showerers!) Quaint courtyard pool with plenty of pool area towels and sun beds. Our Room, 656...

Dear Nicola J, We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Nothing says comfort like plenty of big fluffy towels and muffalottas! Very happy to hear the staff elevator was convenient for you and that you enjoyed the courtyard. Safe Travels, Regards from Mark Wilson and the staff of The BOH

Last visited this property in 1967. Even better now. Great people, very classy N. O. décor. Very good location for Quarter shopping and dining. Having Bourbon Street on one side is not an attraction - it's more of a trash bucket that ever.

Staff was great at the front desk and room service and bellman were all top notch... Clean room, perfect location solid 4 star stay... Untill it was time to leave... Valet brought our car around and instead of waiting for a open spot to curb park they just stopped it in the middle of the street on a Friday afternoon.......

Very charming hotel! Perfect location. Professional and efficient staff! Near to Bourbon street without the noise and also near art and antiques shops--something for everyone! Great jazz band in the bar but drinks were a tad over-priced. All in all a great stay--would stay again!

We stayed at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel for 3 days in December 2016. Our room had a king bed and although smaller than chain hotel rooms, was very nice with a wonderful bathroom too!! The room faced the courtyard and pool so it was very quiet. The hotels location can't be beat, near everything! Plus the hotel bar makes great...

I arrived at 11AM, no room was available to check in. I let my luggages at the reception. I came back at the hotel at 17:30. I was then attributed a room. Luggages were not placed in the room, and I was just given them back. Rooms are small, the beds as well. No robes, no sleepers, empty minibar, no...

We spend a night in New Orleans during the Christmas season each year. I used to search for the hotel with the best offer. Once I found Bourbon Orleans, I quit searching; it has become my go to place. It is always very clean, beautifully decorated with a staff that can't be beat. I absolutely love it and always recommend...

We arrived late evening. We were greeted right when the taxi pulled up. The doorman helped us with our luggage and directed us to the check in desk. We checked in and went to our room. It was a nice room but I had thought I had booked a room with a balcony which this was not. We went down...

We've been going to Brunch with Santa for 4 years now with a big group of extended family. It's simply the best. The staff are in full costume and totally into it, Santa and Ms Clause are as real as they come and the atmosphere is super relaxed. The kids roam around and dance and sing Christmas songs with huge...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
