Love this hotel; stay there every December, celebrating a birthday and attending the Holiday Tour of Homes in the Garden District. The free concert by the St. Mary's Girls H.S. Choir on Saturday afternoon was wonderful - wish more people could enjoy it.

Top of the line. You cannot do better than the Bourbon Orleans! The Christmas ambience is outstanding and the brunch with Santa and his helpers was a lot of fun and helped to make the season bright. We will return to this outstanding hotel as often as possible!

We greatly enjoyed our short stay at the Bourbon Orleans. The staff was wonderful and helpful. We were a little cramped in our double bed (we're used to a king), but it did not dampen our stay here. We'll be back, definitely. It's within walking distance of everything (one block south of Bourbon Street).

As a first time visitor, I stayed here on my friends recommendation. The hotel is beautiful inside and out with a great location. This was a perfect home base from where we walked to all the French Quarter attractions. The hotel staff were friendly and always willing to give advice on where to go. My room comfortable and I felt...

There is much to like about the Bourbon Orleans. Everything went smoothly, our room was nice and quiet. Staff was friendly and the location works so well, it is close to the action but just far enough off of it to be appreciated. We didn't use the restaurant but the bar was wonderful, friendly staff, really fun jazz nightly, can't...

We have stayed at other, multiple locations in New Orleans and the Bourbon Orleans Hotel is by far now our favorite. We stayed 12/1 - 12/5 and upon arriving and throughout our stay, everyone, particularly the doormen, (and a nod to Martin!) were so friendly and helpful. Their bar, the Bourbon O, is great, (and another nod to bartender Eric!)...

Room was great, clean, well kept. The hotel staff were always helpful. The bar of the hotel opens to Bourbon street. The hotel maintains personnel to assist in organizing tours or special events. This is definitely a high-end hotel.

This hotel has a great location and atmosphere. Smack dab in the middle of the French Quarter so everything was a convenient walk. -- we'll we back. Valet parking is required and is approx. the same price as local garages for 24 hours.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
