Great location, right in the middle of the French Qtr, within walking distance to the French Market, a little further to business area of downtown and the River walk. Pedicab was only $5 each plus tip from the area of the River Walk to the area close to the hotel.

Relatives were in town for the LSU/Mizzou football game and we spent 3 very enjoyable nights with them in New Orleans. It was their first time staying at the Bourbon Orleans, but we have had several stays there and you did not disappoint. A great time was had by all.

Great hotel/pool and location. Staff was great. The room service pizza was dry, like it sat under lights for a while. Our safe wouldn't open the last night, with all of our stuff inside. The engineer was great and got it opened with a master key and said it was a common problem. We were leaving the next morning at...

Great visit. Great location. Hard to get a drink at the bar, however. Not very attentive there. Nice large lobby. Real easy to get a cab or catch uber. Within walking distance to good restaurants. Housekeeping forgot to replenish my coffe and tea, but otherwise good.

Great experience. Safe and close to the action of Bourbon Street. The room was nice and the staff very friendly. The location is incredible because you can go out drink, and walk to your room. I can't wait to go back.

Since living there, I have visited many times and, as a former local, my standards are pretty high for lodging and dining. This was my first stay at the Bourbon Orleans and...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
