Great spot in the French Quarter close to everything most places are in walking distance or a cheap Uber. Upon arrival I was very pleased with the hotel and my room accommodations. The walls though are very thin so u can hear people when they are in the hallway and in the room next door. The staff were extremely friendly...

Don't look any further it's the perfect hotel ! The staff is friendly, the lobby is beautiful. My only advice would be to would've avoid the balcony rooms if you're a light sleeper. The rooms are spacious especially for a classic hotel.

The staff is very friendly, although some rooms are small, everything is VERY clean, and I am picky about this! Request a room that doesn't face Bourbon if you want to sleep at night. The bed and linens are very nice and comfortable, and there are no strange odors (I notice this bc of allergies).

Location was central in the French district and the room was quiet for the location. My room was clean and all staff were awesome. The drinks at the O Bar were refreshing and delish. The whole stay exceeded my expectations. The Bourbon Orleans has just become my go to spot when in New Orleans. Loved it here!

Very close to centre of town and local amenities and tours within walking distance; fantastic decor and grounds, and very comfortable and quiet given how close it is to the action. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Great hotel, very clean. The service was top notch. If you are staying here to be in a quiet room, you may want to consider either another hotel or make sure you ask for a room on Orleans street. We had a great room with a balcony to Bourbon Street which was a lot of fun except on Saturday night...

Great old hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. I highly recommend the hotel and it's staff! The hotel is beautiful, ornate and very well kept. The staff is friendly and the lounge has great jazz!

A beautiful secure spot amidst the craziness of the French Quarter. Clean, quality room and extremely friendly staff. Overlooking St. Ann street you can't escape the din of the French Quarter but we knew that going in. Brought our own earplugs so sleeping wasn't too difficult. Close to everything you need. Beautiful!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
