I travel alot...really. If you are able to get a room at the Hyatt Centric, you are ignorantly blessed. There are many nice looking hotels in New Orleans as well as larger ones but the staff at this hotel ........ wait fot it......is so good....that they make this small to medium-sized hotel ...the most beautiful structure on Mt. Olympus. The...

The best park of this hotel is location. We reserved two King Rooms with a balcony, and it was awesome. The rooms were joining so we can all hang out together. Its close enough to everything but not right on the beaten path so the noise of the street will keep you up. Definitely a great hotel to stay at...

This was a business trip. I had quite a large room and when I walked in the light switch by the door turned on the light in the hall leading to the bathroom. It was then difficult to find out how to turn on the large standing lamp or the light by the bed because it was too dark. Toilet...

The hotel from the outside looks beautiful. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are a different story. The bathroom was dirty, barely cleaned from the last guest. At night when we took a shower, the tub was clogged and wouldn't drain. The hot water lasted minutes and the shower curtain was had mildew stains. The bathroom didn't...

We booked the Hyatt Centric French Quarter NOLA for two nights. We really liked our stay and had a great time. During the first afternoon when we just arrived, it started to rain. The window wasn't isolated enough so it started to rain in our room and on the TV screen. They sent somebody do repair and gave us a...

Really enjoyed our stay! Matt really understood and accommodated our stay after another hotel gave our reservation away! Our family was Travaling with three kids. Immediately our family was taken care of and the entire staff was super nice to our children. We will return here for our future stays! 100% satisfaction very clean and spacious. Thanks a lot! My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt French Quarter for three nights in early December. We took a cab from the airport to the hotel and were able to either walk or use the trolleys to get everywhere we wanted to go with ease. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We were surprised at the generous sized room....

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
