I want to write a review that was long over due . This is a five star from the staff at front desk , amenities, food and atmosphere . I stayed in a room on the ninth floor .Th room was Beautifully decorated, quiet and elegant . I loved the roof top pool . I visited with my husband and we traveled every 3 months . Upon check in I over heard the people checking out talking about any happenings . I did not think much about this . At 2:45 am one morning I got up to go to the bathroom . Went to bed the light was still on . A glass slid across the table in the room . The table was even and no room for error on this other than a spirit . I picked up the glass placed it next to me and went to bed . I am a believer and know there are spirits at LePavillion !

**Le Pavillon Hotel** in New Orleans is a **timeless gem** that seamlessly blends **beauty, history, and opulence**. From the moment you step into its grand lobby, you're transported to an era of elegance and sophistication. The **ornate chandeliers**, **marble floors**, and **richly detailed woodwork** evoke the grandeur of a bygone era. Each room is a **sanctuary of luxury**, adorned with antique furnishings, plush fabrics, and intricate wallpaper. The **French-inspired decor** whispers tales of New Orleans' storied past. As you sip a cocktail in the **gorgeous courtyard**, surrounded by lush greenery and a stunning fountain, you can almost feel the echoes of jazz music and laughter from decades past. Le Pavillon Hotel is not just a place to stay; it's a **living piece of history** that invites you to immerse yourself in its timeless allure.

I absolutely love my stay at LaPavillion! From the time I walked in and saw the chandeliers and crown molten ceilings I was in love! The common room/lobby was full of comfortable furniture and interesting people. The staff was very helpful about pointing the was to a few of the sights I wanted to see and the hotel itself is just a couple blocks from Bourbon Street so that made going out to sight see a breeze! The room was beautiful and equipped with air purifiers as well as filtered water in the shower which gave me a easy excuse to take and extra shower to appreciate the luxury of it all. They also had delicious strawberry water and lemon water available in the lobby. I absolutely lived this place and recommend it to anyone wanting a swanky stay in New Orleans!

We loved our room. The design of the hotel and our suite marries the historic features with modern touches perfectly. We visit New Orleans multiple times a year and this hotel used to be our go-to. We always felt welcome and the staff was consistently friendly, from the hotel entrance, front desk and everyone in between. This weekend has been our first visit to this hotel in a few years. We had begun to explore the smaller, boutique hotels for our visits over the last 2 years. However, we had learned of the updates do this hotel so we decided to stay, once again, and check out what we have been missing. Unfortunately, the charm and hospitality is gone, for the most part. As I said, it is still aesthetically lovely. We have little complaints regarding the presentation of our suite, the lobby and overall design and amenities of the hotel. The reception was disappointing. I do not know if the desk clerk was just tired (it was around 8:30pm CT) or his personal feelings (we are an interracial couple), or just his normal demeanor with everyone all day everyday, but we felt the negative energy immediately. No warmth, no smiles, no offering of information about the hotel’s amenities or events going on—just perfunctory and coldness. We also overheard negative and offensive comments from a staff member hanging out with the valet. I had been in this hotel for 10 minutes, and looking forward to a relaxing stay, and I was already deflated and regretting our decision. The only thing that kept me from asking my husband to find a room in one of the boutique hotels at that very moment and to cancel our reservations was the incredibly kind and friendly bellhop who brought our luggage to our room and was a great representative of the engaging, professional and friendly experience we used to have when we stayed here in the past. We are actually still here as I write this review. I was so upset about our check in and reception experience and how it made me feel at the start of a long overdue getaway, that I woke up this morning still thinking about it. How you are treated as a customer really does leave an impression of the establishment and also your overall trip. I do know we plan to spend as little time as possible in the hotel and interacting or crossing paths with the hotel staff. This may help to avoid any more offense for the remainder of our long weekend here. We would normally enjoy a cocktail or grab a coffee and a light snack in the hotel before we head out. But I am certain that we will feel better about our overall experience doing those things somewhere else while we are in town. I want to make sure that if this review is considered by hotel management that they are fully aware that the hotel employees we encountered after midnight in the lobby and front desk were fantastic.!!!! They asked us how our evening was and if there was anything we needed, without any prompting. They also wished us a goodnight and they appeared genuine and kind. Also the gentleman who took our luggage from our vehicle was nice and the gentlemen who brought our luggage to our room was extremely kind. They were all a welcome contrast in their demeanor and engagement with us to the staff member handling the check in process and the random employee who was compelled to opine aloud his thoughts and feelings about my husband and I as a couple, as we were headed out to enjoy our evening. My husband and I have both learned to not engage with (and ignore) people who are disparaging and demeaning. We try not to internalize it because we know from our experiences that there are more good people out there and they outnumber the negative ones. However, no one should ever have to endure that kind of negativity and disparaging remarks from employees in a business where they are the customer. Needless to say, I will ensure for future visits, we no longer consider this hotel. I am sure management will understand our perspective on not returning after this experience. I am only sharing this review, with hope for future improvement. It’s a beautiful hotel and our experience should match it.

We did not get off to the best start at the hotel after the receptionist who dealt with us on our arrival rudely told us our booking had been cancelled!! She stated we would need to pay again or find another hotel, not the best news after a long tiring flight from the UK!! She must have realised her mistake as she did find us a room but we didn’t get an apology. When we got to the room the telephone was broken, the lamp was broken and we couldn’t use the usb charging as that was also broken. We went back to reception and was given another room by a nice gentleman. Since then we have had to request clean towels twice as housekeeping didn’t leave us any and also didn’t leave any coffee pods or cups! This hotel does not have the best customer service by any stretch of the imagination.

This is a good hotel. The building itself has historical interest and the architecture is of a golden era. Rooms are very spacious with king bed, and include a walk in closet, although the bathroom is quite small in comparison. The bathroom features Molten Brown products. The communal areas have a nice feel about them but overall I would say the hotel feels a little tired. That said it offered a good price for us and is only 10 minutes walk from the start of the French Quarter.

Please learn from my mistake and do not stay here. The front desk are terrible, rude and don't know how to work in hospitality. They will also cancel reservation without informing you. I booked this place through a third-party site (expedia). I received all my confirmations. When I went to check in, they informed me my room was cancelled by the third party. It was getting late and they were sold out, thus they were not honoring the reservation. OK I rebook with them directly at the front desk for the rest of the nights. I proceed to call the third party and go somewhere else. I get my confirmation and make the adjustments. The next day, I decide to check my credit and see Pavillon have refunded the new booking. I call their reservations and they informed me my new accommodations were cancelled by me again - not true. We go back and forth. They are very rude and tell me to all the front desk. I call the front desk and they said they can honor it, but that it says it's cancelled. I say, "ok" but I still need to check in early. They inform me that's not possible. Sensing they were going to cancel me, I look for a new place to stay. I call back and inform them that I would like to cancel for good. They inform me I'm going to be charged a full night for sameday cancellation. The front desk were rude and should not be working in hospitality. After a lot of rude back and forth, everyhting was cancelled.

I've stayed here multiple times and its usually good. Not this time, due to extensive construction impact on my morning sleep. The staff were great and they tried to move rooms and accommodate me, but the noise was very loud and within a few feet of the wall near my head in my second room location. There was no mention of construction when I booked with a 3rd party site, nor from the hotel after the reservation was made. My issue? When I voiced my displeasure to the GM after my stay, he really did not seem to care. No offer of any compensation at all. I don't like staying at properties where the GM doesn't value his customers quality of stay. So, I won't be staying there again. They also dismantled the old school bar.

Le Pavillon have fraudulently taken over £500 off my card we signed for 6 breakfasts and two drinks only, i’ve spent a month trying to get it back, no response, absolutely appalling way to treat customers which is a shame as we actually liked the hotel, completely disgusted. They have even ignored the travel agent!!

I visited Le Pavillon this week and had a wonderful experience. I'm excited for them to finish their renovations and looking forward to the final reveal. My room was immaculate, larger footprint than expected and comfortable bedding. My favorite part was the staff here. The front desk was incredibly friendly. You can tell they truly care, which can be rare quality with hotels today. They are embracing the rebranding and I noticed the new GM was involved in the experience too, which is also uncommon with other hotels. I love that they are conveniently located, but not in the heart of busy, Bourbon street. I appreciate the unique history of the building and will definitely return for another stay. Highly recommend.
