Perfect. Charming. Great location right in the French Quarter. Family friendly-the kids loved the pool and we loved having a drink in the courtyard. We will come back to this hotel again for sure. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Great insider's tips.

The hotel Provincial is a hidden gem in the French Quarters of New Orleans. As you enter, you are warmly greeted by a wonderful welcome enhanced by the warmth of a New Orleans accent. This is only the beginning. My wife and I stayed here for the first time 41 years ago for our honeymoon and over the past few...

The wife and I have wanted to go to NOLA for a while now and finally got around to it. To be honest, I was looking for cheaper more than anything as far as hotels go because we wouldn't be spending much time there. But this place was not only affordable, but very nice. The bed and pillows were excellent....

My husband and I just took our motorcycle to NOLA for spring break. We couldn't have picked a better hotel. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The location was within walking distance of everything in the Quarter. The bartender was awesome. They had the best hurricane drink in the area. The parking lot was gated so we felt safe....

Apart from a charming room with a great shared balcony, the welcoming and attentive staff made our stay here most enjoyable. My sisters and I had a very positive experience. The hotel is in a great location, the staff knowledgeable and the bar great for a little refreshment. Additionally, the coffee (served in the bar from 10:00 pm to 3:00...

Our rooms were cozy and very quaint. Comfy beds and clean. The courtyard was wonderful and pretty. The pool was nice too. Priced very reasonably and the staff was friendly. Only drawback was noise from people hanging out in courtyard and lanterns shed light in some rooms.

The rooms in this historic hotel have been updated. The amenities are nice. A refrigerator is a nice addition to the room. The staff is friendly. An added bonus is a lovely Courtyard with a fountain and tables and chairs

The perfect hotel for Mardi Gras. Right in the French Quarter, close to Jackson Square and an easy 20 minute walk to the parade routes. The atmosphere on Fat Tuesday was amazing. Street parties everywhere and you are right in there amongst it. The hotel itself is so cute. It has a beautiful little fountain courtyard which our room faced....

This lovely hotel was in the perfect location to explore the French Quarter. The staff was friendly and helpful. The guys at the front desk when we checked out were really helpful and efficient. Trudy helped us solve a problem quickly and checked back with us several times to make sure everything was fine. We will certainly stay at this...

I enjoyed our stay. Suite was comfortable. Walking distance from most places. Staff very helpful. Would like breakfast place closer. Housekeeping needs to replace coffee supplies daily. Very thoughtful

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
