The room was very good, really comfy bed. It was nice to have breakfast outside. The location was excellent and easy to get around. The one thing that let it down was its completely unreliable wifi. It was very frustrating and cost me a lot more in 3G use and was really slow. If you sort the wifi this would... More

First & foremost great location! Beds were clean and comfortable. Night staff sweet and accommodating! Be aware though, rooms could be cleaner, which was a turnoff meaning carpeting and floors and molding. If you need WiFi stay out of Rm 240, they know the WIFI IS spotty at best.

I found this hotel by accident on Google and booked it, The garden district is beautiful and it's only about a 30 min walk to the French Quarter. The hotel gives of an old school, quaint vibe and the room, although a bit musty, was cute. I love the loft, I slept like a baby up there. Got up in... More

This is a quaint hotel in the Garden district. It’s in a good location, just a short walk to the St Charles trolley line, and with free parking. We had a double room and the kids had a “mezzanine room”. The room interiors were very nice and the beds were VERY comfy. Our room was very near reception and opened... More

Nice old hotel. Neighborhood looks kind of scary, but we had no issues & hotel has security. 1 block from St. Charles trolley in Garden District. Rooms were old, but beds were comfy & bathroom was fine. It had a loft and made the stay roomy. It is by no means modern. It was fairly clean & the staff was... More

This hotel is one of the best kept secrets in the Garden District. Prytania Park is in a perfect location- within walking distance of a lot of cool bars and restaurants. It's in a safe area, check in is easy, there's a nice big lot so you don't have to park on the street, downtown NOLA is just an Uber... More

This was my wife & I's first stop on our cross-country road trip and what a find! Just off St. Charles in the Garden District, close to the streetcar and some really nice restaurants, this hotel is like a step back in time. Nice courtyard where breakfast is served in the morning is surrounded by cozy, yet very stylish rooms.... More

Very nice staff. Pretty clean and neat room. Had to change rooms due to toilet issue and second room was not as nice or did not seem as clean. Mildew around the sink in bathroom area and the floor did not seem clean or maybe a stain on it. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if... More

My wife and I travelled to NOLA in May and stayed here for 4 nights. The room was small but comfortable and the staff was always helpful. Only one block from streetcar which can take you to to the french quarter.

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
