Where do I start? The place is old and very well located. Service is really bad, the staff tries to be nice but the results are awful. The room is nice but obscure and the floors have a very old smelly rug. My TV takes...More
I am typically a Marriott-girl and love the New Orleans Marriott (directly across the street) but I got a AAA package that included parking at the Sheraton that ended up saving me over $50 a night so I tried the Sheraton and loved it.

We recently stayed at this hotel with a tour group. The elevators were really easy to use and very fast. You punch in your number before and then you are told what elevator to go to. Saves a lot of time. The beds and pillows...More

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
