My friends and I love New Orleans and this hotel made it even more enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly, the pool was relaxing and it was affordable. The only thing we would change is next time we will be getting a bigger room. We had a deluxe with twin beds and we are hoping the balcony rooms provide a...

Just checked out and it was a great experience. Room must have been updated in the last 5 years. I've been in some ratty French Quarter boutique hotels and I kinda expected that at the nightly rate I paid. I think I just hit it on a low occupancy lower rate night. Stayed in an inside windowless room and it...

My boyfriend and I came in June and loved it. The room was nice, the staff was very helpful, and we loved the location. You are extremely close to Jackson Square and only a short walk to Bourbon! Great price as well. We will definitely come again.

I loved this hotel. It is so satisfying to visit a city like New Orleans and stay in a hotel that tells a story. Small, clean, great location. If you squint your eyes a bit, it feels like you've moved in. Lovely little pool, resident cat. No elevator, you go up stairs in the open courtyard. Be sure to ask...

Small boutique hotel just a block from Jackson Square. Close to everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are great with exposed brick, high ceilings, etc. Nice courtyard with small pool great for sitting and talking with other guests. Price was great too. And the air conditioning worked very well which is a must in the summertime in New...

What a find. With your AAA card you get a discount. Not knowing the layout of the French Quarter (FQ) exactly, I was pleasantly surprised to find my hotel was slap dab in the heart of the FQ. Everything FQ was within an easy walking distance. Which was good because it just did not make sense to rent a car....

Stayed there form 6/22/16-6/25/16. Location - location - location. The room was clean & the high ceiling made the room feel much bigger than it was. Had a room with 1 king bed. Never got back in the car after we checked in due to the close proximity to everything including the cable car lines. The best part was the...

Beautiful hotel, convenient walking distance to restaurants and attractions. Old New Orleans feel. Our room was small but we had a window and easy access to the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful! Coffee shop next door- Cafe Du Monde about 2 blocks away.

This is a great hotel, if all you're going to do is sleep there and then be out and about in the French Quarter the rest of the day. The bed was comfy, the rooms were fairly quiet (in June--I have no idea how crazy it gets during Mardi Gras), everything was clean, and the water-pressure in the shower was...

This hotel taught me something very important. Always make sure the hotel room you are getting, has a window. Lugging your luggage all around through the stairs on the multiple floors ensures this is NOT a good hotel for those who need accommodation. It's right in the middle of things, but again--no window. There is a central pool that is...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
