Made reservations at Windsor Court on April 13th 2016, & received a confirmation number, this was 9 months earlier than my intended stay the end of January 2017. I was contacted early this month to reconfirm my reservations , which I did. On January 17th , 2017 I was contacted by Windsor Court , they informed me I could not...

We were last in New Orleans the fall of 2008 (we stayed at the Omni in the French Quarter) so decided it was time for a repeat trip. This time, we chose to stay just outside of the French Quarter, thinking it would be a bit less bustling and therefore quieter. We were really pleased with our choice of the...

don't be fooled by the exterior appearance, once in side the court yard you are transformed to another era. Rooms were well appointed and quite large, staff accommodating, close proximity to the french quarter and bourbon street. However people we traveled with received a call in their room claiming to be from the front desk as they knew their names...

Has been rated as one of the finest hotels in the world by travel magazines. It is the best hotel in NOLA and also home to the best luxury spa in the city. Polo Club Lounge on the property serves great cocktails and provides live jazz performances. Walking distance to French Quarter and Arts District.

Entrance gained by a courtyard drive behind privacy walls across the downtown casino. Street noise was never an issue at all. Walking distance to all the local attractions yet, you feel safe and private within their courtyard setting. Rooms were very good but not quite 5 star. Some insulated glass windowns in rooms were premanently fogged detracting from the view,...

Over the past decade we have stayed at the Windsor Court and never been disappointed. I'm still not sure why New Orleans' premier hotel is named for a British royal palace, but the lobby has its own precise model and a portrait of George V and Queen Mary. The lobby offers a bar and English tea most days of the...

Not like it use to be! Good thing we - 5 of us - had a sense of humor because it was one problem after another. Arrived early afternoon and discovered hotel booked us into rooms that did not match what was reserved by Amex. Took an hour to get it straightened out. Had to have lunch in Bar area...

This is a the Best New Orleans has to Offer for a hotel. It is great any time of the year and especially wonderful for the Holiday. My husband and I (and our pet) spent Christmas there this year. We were on the conceirge floor and the service from arrival to departure was really perfect. Front desk was friendly, efficient...

My family stays at the Windsor Court each year (3-4 rooms) for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. The suites are huge, beautiful and fully appointed (truly better than home). Ralph is amazing in setting us up and making sure everything is just perfect (as I am sure he does for everyone). The club room is a special treat and we...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
