Now this place was a find. Tucked away in the French Quarter but close to everything you would want, the Mazarin will not disappoint you. Friendly staff, excellent breakfasts and connection to a very lively jazz bar. What we liked the most was the spaciousness of the rooms, positively enormous. If you want a hotel in the French Quarter you...

My son and new daughter-in-law held their wedding ceremony and reception at the Hotel Mazarin on December 2, 2016. They courtyard is just beautiful with the candles and back lighting. There is a full time wedding coordinator on staff and she helped keep the wedding and reception running smoothly. The bride was able to relax!! The concierge is extremely nice!!...

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly but there is much that could be improved on. Our shower temperature was room temperature at best even after I spoke with engineering. I was told that was as good as it gets. Also they have no pantry for amenities to buy. Room was smaller than I thought but was still very...

Very friendly staff, exceptional breakfast, nice rooms - get courtyard-facing room as can get quite loud (hotel is just off Bourbon St). Patrick's wine bar (adjacent) is a nice addition. Would stay here again if I had to stay in the French Quarter.

This is a very nice hotel with a great location in the French Quarter, just off Bourbon Street. The morning breakfast, and especially the staff there, are wonderful. The courtyard is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and very nice. The concierge is VERY helpful, as were the staff in general.

The hotel staff was very friendly, especially the door man. Had no problems with the valet parking. Hotel offers a daily breakfast which was good. The room was very clean however they are VERY small and not worth the price.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
