Very nice stay. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Quiet at night which was a pleasant surprise given proximity to Bourbon. Would happily return. I enjoyed the courtyard and the breakfast was much better than most complimentary breakfasts.

This hotel was everything my wife and I needed. Fantastic convenient location. Walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. Not too far from the river and Jackson Square. So ideal. The courtyard was a terrific spot to hangout and enjoy a relaxing breakfast. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. I recommend this hotel. We...

First of all the hotel is awesome. The rooms are very nice and large. It comes with a coffee maker, refrigerator, TV, and access to a balcony for viewing. The breakfast was AWESOME. The food was delicious and there was quiet a variety. Everything we ate tasted like it was prepared for us. But.... We didn't realize that being this...

My research narrowed down to the Hotel Mazarin. Location, affordability and ambiance were top priority, especially since my daughter and son in law have never experienced the French Quarter and and all it has to offer. Hotel Mazarin ticked all the boxes for us! Rooms were clean and well appointed. The room had the character we were looking for and...

Great location, excellent cleanliness, friendly staff, good breakfast. A bit of noise outside during the night, but that is to be expected. We loved the Atrium and found it a lovely place to hang out during the day.

The Hotel Mazarin was a beautiful hotel - exceptionally clean. Service was top-notch! The complimentary breakfast was very good and the courtyard was a beautiful place to eat, and also to relax later in the day. Location to the French Quarter was excellent. Many things we wanted to do were within walking distance. The French Market was about a 10...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
