Excellent location, accomodations, breakfast, and service. We were very pleased and will plan to stay at the Mazarin whenever in New Orleans. Parking of our car was handled in a very expeditious, care- ful and courteous manner.

I chose this hotel because the courtyard really brings out the best of New Orleans. We were not disappointed after staying there for four days. The main strong point is that it is located in the heart of French Quarter and yet it was so quiet! My daughter and I are light sleepers, but we did not have any problem...

Had a great time at Hotel Mazarin. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our second year staying at the hotel, and it was even better than the last time. Right in the french quarter and around everything. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Mazarin for four nights the first week of April. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family/friends visiting NOLA! The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. The bellman and the concierge were both helpful. We used the concierge to book a couple...

Overall the Hotel was fine Good breakfast and location. Would have given it a 3.5 if possible. Too loud at night. Stayed here with fourteen people. I would consider staying here again depending on price.

Great location easy access to all attractions. Great walking neighborhood. Heart of the French Quarters. Quiet room and courtyard. Very pretty. Atmosphere with aFrench flair! Room was on the small side but clean. Only complaint were the pillows-foamy. They didn't match the plush bedding.

The venue for the wedding was marvelous. It was just perfect for what they were looking for. The courtyard was fabulous, and the breakfast was divine. As I said on the previous page we had some problems with money be stolen out of our room with a safe that did not work. The Patrick's lounge was decorated cool and everything...

We had a large superior king room. Clean, spacious, everything was nicely appointed and updated. Pretty chandelier, marble floors, nice stand up shower (no tub, fyi), double sinks, tons of mirrors. A note for girls trips/bachelorettes - there's double sinks/mirrors, a desk & vanity so lots of places to put on makeup. Two hotel bars, and you get a voucher...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
