New Orleans is a great place to stay with the magic of jazz music and friendly Southern hospitality. Equally hotel Mazzini is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful city. The staff are friendly, efficient and the hotel was found to be quite in a loud busy town. Breakfast was great and found to be one of the best on our...

This small unassuming hotel is brimming with southern charm. From classic iron work adorning the facade and inner courtyard to the warm and welcoming staff, this hotel says New Orleans from front to back. THE perfect location in the French Quarter. It's near (but not on) Bourbon Street, close to many great restaurants and a short walk to most of...

Hotel needs updating. Surrounding area very suspect as far as security and safety. The value received for the price was not very good. Late evening sleeping was hampered by loud noise from the streets.

Very much enjoyed our stay after the staff kindly moved us to a room off the courtyard and away from the street construction noise. Hotel Mazarin has the perfect location for walking to galleries, restaurants shopping and history sites. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend

Felt like a boutique hotel, but had lots of rooms. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the room was very spacious and well appointed. It's only a half block off Bourbon St., so don't get a room overlooking the action as it may be a bit noisy. The courtyard was a blessed escape from the maddening crowds, and perfect...

Great stay. Staff wonderful, pleasant, and accomodating. Janet the concierge was very helpful. Room was great. Close to everything but just off bourbon so it was quiet. Daily breakfast in the courtyard was wonderful. Thanks!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
