We so enjoyed our stay here The location was fantastic and the staff was so nice We loved the free drink upon arrival...it was a nice way to start our trip...we ended going back to the hotel bar a number of times because of it...bathrobes slippers...all was great...and we loved the sound of the fountain in our courtyard room

The hotel was beautiful!! The courtyard was our favorite spot to get away from the crowds and craziness that is Bourbon Street! Patrick's Bar Vin was our favorite spot! Patrick was incredibly friendly and so nice!

No place to relax and read a book other than your room But, it has a great location, nice atmosphere and wonderful staff. Janet the concierge was so helpful and we loved that the hotel served a late breakfast, so we could sleep in and enjoy our stay and not feel hurried.

We stayed 2 nights here during Halloween weekend, a crazy time in New Orleans. Despite being right off Bourbon street, the hotel managed to stay quiet and cozy at night. The quaint, prohibition era style bar connected at the back (21st Amendment)had great live music and killer cocktails. A stay at the Mazarin will give you coupons for free drinks...

My husband and I frequent this hotel a few times a year. The location is very good, the hotel is clean, personable staff, complimentary drink coupons always enjoyed, and complimentary breakfast is wonderful! The cost of a room is very moderately priced for the quality experience.

This is, as their publicity literature states, a gem in New Orleans. You step off the bustling street into a well appointed lobby with friendly staff. The check in was efficient and I was led to my room. We stopped on the balcony of the first floor to review the courtyard, the bar, and the dining room. I was on...

We really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were very nice and the amenities were consistent with our expectations. Despite being only a half block from Bourbon Street, we never heard any sound from it. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was very nice (good pressure) and the towels were soft. My only point of contention was that we were...

Spent 1 night and would highly recommend. Everyone from the bellman to the front desk were wonderful. The hotel is just half a block from Bourbon Street. Everything we needed was within walking distance. They had a complimentary full breakfast buffet that was outstanding. It was nice to have breakfast in the courtyard. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower...

We found this little gem at the last minute. didn't have any balconies left, but did send up a complimentary bottle of champagne since it was our anniversary (This may be standard, but it was still a nice gesture.) The entrance is sits half way between Bourbon and Royal. Convenient to everything. Definitely beats staying at a chain hotel... Ain't...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

“We had a room with a small balcony, on which we and our friends played a game of cards before nightfall. We were able to watch a pre-Mardi Gras parade from the balcony. While the accommodations were pleasant, there was limited closet space and not much space for toiletries in the bathroom.”
