We stayed at hotel Mazarin during Jazzfest. The location was ideal. It is close enough to all the fun of the French quarter without hearing the noise all night. The hotel itself is quaint & very well maintained. Breakfast included was a definite plus.

The grounds were nice, centrally located, excellent breakfast, friendly service. The room was well appointed, although there were some loose tiles in the room. The bathroom was very nice and the bed and pillows were comfortable ! I would stay here again.

Sorry, really don’t know the answers to your questions except I’m sure there will be plenty of music (mostly blues), and under-age drinking wouldn’t be allowed. We did a steam boat cruise but it really was disappointing.

Breakfast is excellent. Scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, potatoes, pastries, coffee, juice, tea, all the usual "stuff". It's probably worth $20 outside the hotel.

I took a cab $36 to the French Quarter. I also did Uber, $33. Doesn't matter to me. Both were easy and convenient.
