Wonderful experience. Extremely quiet "second courtyard" room. Great service and location. Room was on the small side. All staff were friendly and helpful. Valet was efficient in bringing car. Had a very good rate for this hotel.

The only potential problem with this hotel is the noise from the street but that's obviously expected considering its location in the French quarter and to Bourbon Street. the free breakfast was wonderful, and we really enjoyed the balcony and courtyard. overall, a wonderful hotel experience!

We stayed for five nights, and it was wonderful. The staff was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was clean and cozy, and the bed was awesome to sink into at the end of a day of sightseeing. Great location in the French Quarter. Full breakfast served until 11 a.m. (noon on the weekend!) allowed us to...

We are absolutely overjoyed that we held our wedding at the Hotel Mazarin and cannot say enough about how wonderful the hotel and everyone there was through the entire process! To begin with, the setting is gorgeous - we were married in the beautiful courtyard and we loved the Mazarin's beautiful reception room as well. Everyone absolutely loved the venue...

The hotel is everything the pictures and description conveys. It has a very good location to anything walking distance in the French Quarter. If you're wanting a bit more 'quiet time' from Bourbon Street in the evenings, you may want to consider a location closer to the River. If this doesn't bother you, than it's Spot On.

We stayed for two nights at the beautiful Hotel Mazarin. It is conveniently located in the French Quarter and allowed us to park our car with them and never have to use it again. The hotel itself feels very secure with the requirement of a room key to get on the elevator and a doorman at the front door. The...

This hotel did not add to my enjoyment of my first trip to NOLA. Very disappointed in the quality of my stay due to noise of guests and lack of basic cleaning to room. This was really unbelievable to have such a poor experience with basic service.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
