This was an excellent choice. The hotel was wonderful. Room was beautiful and clean. Beds very comfortable. The staff was great. There are a variety of dining venues and we loved them all. Could get a little noisy at times but our room was on the Bourbon Street side so what else could you expect? I'd suggest asking for room...

Excellent location. Able to see the fun stuff on Bourbon street although room was on Conti.Very nice hotel and experience but a bit pricey for what you got. Would go again for the heated pool, exercise area, and cleanliness of room.

Great location. Great modern rooms. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are clean. Get a room on the third floor with a balcony. Pool is nice with lounge chairs. The balcony is over looking courtyard. Only problem free wifi won't connect. Can't check emails.

Service was fantastic. Room choices were great. If you want a balcony on Bourbon street they have it (be prepared for the noise until 3AM). Great to do once. We stayed in a club level room before our cruise, it was like being in another world and the amenities were wonderful.

The hotel is certainly adequate. I was disappointed that there was no coffee/tea maker available in our room. Even though the hotel is in a very noisy area, our room which had an interior view, the pool was very quiet! If you want the hoopla of Bourbon Street go straight out the front door! If you prefer a quieter area,...

When we visited NOLA last year we took in the Irvin Mayfield Jazz club just off the lobby, so for our annual trip we decided to stay at the hotel itself. It's above average for its class (3 or 4 star) and its location close to most things in the French Quarter made it desirable for us. The Jazz club...

The hotel is in a prime location. Staff was very friendly. Anthony at the concierge gave us excellent recommendations and was very helpful! Every restaurant he suggested was delicious. Loved my stay here and would definitely come back.

Spent most of a week there and can't say enough good things about the quality of the hotel and service. Be advised that it's smack in the middle of the French Quarter--right on Bourbon St. which makes for a very crowded and lively street-nightlife!

My son and I stayed here for four nights, The hotel is located on Bourbon Street, and its central location makes it very easy to get to any location in the French Quarter or Business District. After reading numerous positive reviews, I must have had the only room with a window that was so tall that I had to stand on a chair to see the pool. Felt like I was in a dungeon. I went back to the front desk and was told there were no other rooms available, even though we checked in about...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
