Location is good about a block off bourbon st , yet still very quiet , The staff were all great polite kind etc , right down to the valet , The room was clean , a lil worn out but clean , no view to speak of from our room , but we didnt spend much time in there ,...

From start to finish, this was an awful experience. Check-in was painless, but once we arrived to our room not a single light in the room worked because they were apparently all left unplugged. The beds were carelessly made with the bed skirts partially tucked up under the mattress. These things are not that serious, they just show a general...

The room is very small for a king bedroom. It is clean and service is very good. Few amenities so there's little to actually do at the hotel other than read or watch television and helpful front desk. The location is excellent--walking distance to most things.

One of our 2 favorite French Quarter hotels with a great location and very competitive prices. Located near (but not on) Bourbon St. (if that's your thing) and easy walking distance from numerous excellent restaurants. Plus on site valet parking and attached to the really excellent Bombay Club. The Prince Conti is a safe, clean, surprisingly quiet hotel in an...

I would not recommend this place if you want cleanliness. On the other hand it is convenient and the staff was very nice, especially the parking staff. Our room carpet was filthy even though it was supposed to be cleaned every day.

When you add the tax and charge for parking, it came to $152, a week after the Mardi Gras. As the hotel was right off Bourbon Street, I suppose that is a fair price. Parking alone cost was $39.51 daily. They have a nice on site bar, the Bombay Club, which has good happy hour prices and comfortable chairs, kinda...

This hotel is great. Not only is it quiet at night but it is mere steps to bourbon street. The staff is helpful and courteous. I would recommend this lovely reasonably priced hotel to everyone I know. 5 Stars

The Prince Conti is 1/2 block off Bourbon Street, but amazingly quiet despite all the all-night revelry during Marti Gras. The hotel is older, but comfortable and clean. We had a room in the annex which was huge and a wonderful combination of antique and modern. The was a bit of shabbiness especially in the curtains, but it added to...

I found a great price for this hotel on hotels.com. After checking the hotel website, the price was even lower than hotels.com. We drove in our car to the hotel and drove right into the valet parking. We were met by friendly smiling faces that parked our car for the duration of our visit. (Valet parking is $38.51 a night.)...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
