The hotel is authentic NOLA. The location is great, close to everything but not "too close". The room was clean and exactly as described. If you're expecting lush comforts, you might not want to stay here. The floors creaked, some plugs worked half time, but that is exactly what we expected. The staff was awesome and helpful. The cafe downstairs...

We have stayed here a few times throughout the years. We were there April 5-8. We had a great room (269), roomy, it was quiet (no outside noise). The walls are a little thin in the bathroom, I could hear someone coughing and another noise I won't mention, hehe. But overall good hotel, right off Bourbon, we could walk to...

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint, old hotel in the French Quarter and just off Bourbon Street, but certainly without the noise and craziness you will find if you stay on Bourbon Street. If you are looking for elegance, it isn't here, but it has comfortable rooms that were clean. The bathrooms are upgraded. Maybe the room itself can...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in New Orleans and in particular at this hotel. This is an old building so do not expect newer style accommodations. If you are looking for a clean room with a comfortable bed and a modest bathroom shower for a great price one block from Bourbon Street you can't do any better then Prince Conti....

While the Prince Conti may not be the premier location in the French Quarter, it is a solid, quaint, and friendly location for all things New Orleans. I think the best asset about the hotel is the cafe and the bar. The hotel is old and showing its age but is very clean, safe and accessible to the French Quarter....

This hotel was just what we needed for our one night in town! It's located in the French Quarter off on a side street, but still in the heart of everything. It's actually better this way because you don't have to worry about any noise at night. The hotel staff was courteous and accommodating. The room itself was really clean...

We stayed 4 nights. Check in and out were flawless and quick. One elevator but we never had to wait. Room was functional - more than enough room for us, outlets next to each night stand, normal amenities. Room was cleaned each day. This isn't the Ritz, the building shows its age and whatnot, but it exceeded my expectations based...

Myself and my partner have recently stayed at the prince conti hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here and the staff were all very friendly. The room was nice and comfortable the only downside was the bathroom needed a little more cleaning as there was dark hair in the shower when we arrived. The hotel location is fantastic, close to...

Stayed here for 3 nights on business recently. Right off of Bourbon St. If you're in your 20s that's all you need. If you're in you're 40s... not so much. Hotel is quaint, but very small. I had a room with two beds and it was very small. No overhead light or real work space. A/C unit was a bit...

The Prince Conti Hotel is a charming hotel right in the heart of the French Quarter. Literally steps from Bourbon, Canal, and lots of shopping and restaurants. A short walk to Jackson Square. If you are looking for a fancy hotel that is super updated, this is not your hotel. But if you are looking for a decently priced hotel...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
