I stayed at the Sheraton for a couple days. i then switched to the Conti. I loved it here. I had a deluxe room that I paid $69 for. 2nd floor, facing Conti. Great room. High ceilings, large bathroom, comfy bed. The manager was excellent. I will be staying here again, especially with the great rates.

Right in the heart of the French Quarter, yet quiet and elegant. Our room was a bit dark but otherwise attractively furnished and certainly clean. Very helpful reception staff.

An ideal place to stay. Very clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Travis and Darnell. These guys were so accomodating with their knowledge of New Orleans, the near by restuarants and places to go made my 5 day trip with friends an enjoyable one. I highly recommend the Prince Conti hotel for...

Stayed in a King Deluxe room & loved it. Room was extremely spacious! From the day we checked in until we checked out the room was cleaned everyday! It is soooooo close to Bourbon St, but without the noise. We would definitely recommend it!!

First time for my wife and I to New Orleans. The staff where very friendly, in particular a female concierge whom I wished we had gotten her name. She was very helpful with suggestions on what to see. Unfortunately the morning we left she was not at work so we where unable to leave her a nice tip. Not the...

I paid $28 per car to park in their lot and both cars got scratched down to the metal. We waited so long to get the car we didn't look before we left! Our car was brand new, only months old with not scratches. The staff was very freindl and the room was pretty good. Can't beat it for the...

Management response:

Hotel takes great care to handle vehicles well - if / when damage is caused, we are forthright and timely in response and in repair. We have no record of such complaint. Happy for the other kind words offered by this guest.

We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy. Given how little time we spent in the hotel the price point at $65/night was fantastic and allowed us to indulge elsewhere - mostly food and cocktails! Free wifi was super convenient & the staff were nice. They didn't go out of their way but we're learning that is pretty normal....

We recently stayed at the Prince Conti for 4 nights and were very happy with it.If you are used to Holiday Inn,this may not be the place for you.If you like the flavor of history, vintage furniture and being conveniently in the middle of the French Quarter, then one of the hotels owned by the Valentino Group would be for you! old style hotel in great location close to Burbon St but without the craziness. Staff is most accomodating and helpful. We travel 3 or 4 times a year and always stay at the Prince Conti. easy walk to many of the finest restaurants in the quarter, including the Bombay Club on site. Will be back in the fall.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
