Just stayed for 4 nights here. Clean room-Great location and value-Quiet, despite being close. Friendly staff. Cafe on-site had good crepes for breakfast and Bombay Club had extensive, classic cocktail menu.

I can’t really add too much to what’s been posted in the past. I found the staff to be very helpful. The rooms were clean but the walls are thin meaning you can hear quite a bit of what’s going on outside of the rooms. I will say the mattresses, pillows and TVs could use an upgrade, at least in...

Everything about this hotel is wonderful and reasonable except there are no saucers in the cafe. The nice server brought me a dinner plate! It isn't cute or charming a la bread tossed on the table. It is messy and unsightly. We live the place, but are boycotting it until we have saucers!

This hotel is very close to Bourbon without all the noise of Bourbon St. The rate we got for our petite room was awesome. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had. The room was very clean and nice.

I recently stayed at the Prince Conti Hotel for a girl's getaway weekend. I'll agree with other reviewers and say that the location is perfect. However, that's the only positive thing that I can say. 1) Upon my arrival, I was only allowed to check in to one of the two rooms that I have booked and paid for. I...

This place is right off of bourbon street, is the best quality it has going for it. The bathroom was clean but the room smelled terrible, like it was old and dirty. The carpet felt dirty on your feet as well. I kept my shoes on the whole time. Service wasn't bad but the person at the desk early in...

This was our second visit to this hotel, and it was excellent. It is located SO close to Bourbon without the noise factor. The price is one of the best you can find for this vicinity to so many things. The staff is top notch!!

This is the third of the Valentino chain hotels we have stayed at in the last few years. I would put the Prince Conti behind the St Marie and ahead of the Place d'Arms in the quality of the experience. All of the hotels are centrally located in the Quarter and the Prince Conti is one half block off Bourbon...

You could say that by putting a brochure in the Lousiana Visitor Center for a hotel in the New Orleans French Quarters stating that they have rooms starting from $49.00 is not false advertising but I say it is when you call and the price is $179.00. This is the price that I was quoted without even asking what kind...

The Prince Conti routinely offers deep discounts for last-available room inventory for same day arrivals -BUT- all such promotional materials clearly indicate "Rates from..." because the rate varies each day. Some days it's not available at all. When available, the daily rate is declared each morning and offered. This is typical of virtually all hotels in the New Orleans area....

A nice small hotel in the French Quarter at a reasonable price. Very knowledgeable front desk staff. Will stay here again.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
