Everyone is correct about billing issues. I've been trying to deal with getting our issue fixed since May 8. I am tired of trying to deal with Debbie, the GM. I want her supervisor's phone number but she REFUSES to give it to me. She had been rude on the phone messages and when I call her back-she's never there....

I stayed here for three nights in December with my husband. The room was much larger than I'd expected from reviews, located not too far from the French Quarter, and came with a free breakfast. The room was clean, hotel safe, staff friendly. Highly recommended for a stay in the Big Easy.

Our experience started out with a desk clerk who was rude and just downright nasty. We were overcharged for our rooms, have been back for nearly a week with no correction to the bill. We also had another desk clerk who boldly lied to us about giving information to the manager about our billing issues. Housekeeping was terrible. We asked...

This Holiday Inn Express is newer and in a good location. Its 2 blocks from Canal street with shopping and restaurants. Its a 15 minute walk from the Amtrak/Greyhound station. Staff is very helpful and rooms are sparkly clean. WIFI is the fastest I have ever experienced at a hotel and excellent. No fast food real close except Jimmy Johns....

Our trip to new Orleans was fantastic until we had approximately $250 taken from our room. The front staff was wonderful; however, the general manager was dreadful. Instead of being concerned with who was in our room, she chastised me for not using the safe. I guess that guest safety is not a priority for this manager. I will never...

We booked a deluxe King room for three nights and the room assigned to us on check-in was on the second floor. We are a couple travelling around the Deep South for two weeks and have two large suitcases. Whilst we appreciate that space in big cities comes at a premium, the room was so small we could not work...

Good location for this hotel near everything. Nice modern hotel with friendly staff and good facilities. Would stay here again.Lovely rooms and good area .The only down side is the parking fee which a lot of US hotels seem to add on

This Holiday Inn Express is located downtown NOLA and it is a good location if you are looking for a place to stay if you are heading out or coming back in from a cruise. It will just be a short cab ride over to the port. The hotel itself looks updated and very modern. The furniture in the room...

Ryan at the front desk was extremely helpful to our needs, and was very friendly. When we first walked in, we already had a lot of issues with our trip. Ryan, along with Cesar (maintenance) and another girl (I didn't get her name) were very welcoming and had us feeling so much better by the time we went up to...

The room is extremely small. The bathroom is dirty and the shower is dirty in the corners. There is no tub. The bed is extremely hard. It feels like I am sleeping on 2 boxsprings. I will not book here again.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
