Hotel and staff was friendly and well kept. The location was just right for a shot walk to the French Quarter and all the super restaraunts in the area. Duane the Chef was spectacular. Breakfast was delicious and well presenred.

Great staff, Duane is awesome at breakfast. Great service from all the staff whether it be housekeeping or the front desk. Right in the middle of downtown warehouse district and near everything you want to visit in New Orleans (i.e. French Quarter, Uptown, Garden District, etc.)

We just check out of this hotel after a 3-night stay. The stay wasn't bad but could've been better. The hotel needs renovation. Our room only had one nightstand, I almost lost my ring down the drain because the bathroom sink had no stopper, the bathroom was extremely small and the light and the ventilation fan was all on one...

In the heart of the wharehouse district with galleries, museums and excellent restaurants! Pet friendly, too. In walking distance of the French Quarter and the fantastic WWII Museum. See the museum if nothing else, it's a humbling reminder of the sacrifices made to protect the rights we often take for granted in this country.

We had 2 units with our family while on a short vacation in New Orleans. Breakfasts were excellent and afternoon hot appetizers and drinks were a plus. Very convenient to downtown and French Quarter area. Walking distance to World WAR II museum.

Friendly and helpful desk staff. Quiet room (this is very important to me). Nice pool. The mattress was softer than I prefer, but this is a minor issue and I'm picky about that. Breakfast was one of the best buffets I've had at a mid-priced hotel; the gentleman in charge (Duane) was attentive and friendly. It was a bit of...

From check-in with Sharon & Kila to checking out 8 days later, things could not have been better. The friendliness we encountered anytime we approached the front desk, be it directions, things needed in the room, etc., the staff was super friendly and never treated us as a nuisance. Pleasant staff at the breakfast buffet each morning as well. We...

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
