The one bedroom suite was first class. As was the staff, property, accommodations, breakfast, the 3 short block location to the WWII Museum and squeaky clean! We are light sleepers, we really enjoyed the quietness of our room. We shall return when the Museum adds exhibits in a few years.

We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite. Not sure how we managed the upgrade but the suite was large, clean and quiet. What more could one as for in the Warehouse District. The complimentary breakfast area had a well stocked selection of items. The indoor area was large with plenty of room to sit. In addition, it was just...

This is our second trip staying in a Residence Inn as a family of 8-to-9. Your Downtown location was perfect for us and all we wanted to accomplish in our week. Without exception, every member of the Team was kind, considerate, pleasant, helpful and client/customer oriented towards making our stay excellent. Our room accommodations were more than adequate for us:...

Value to cost compared with other places I've stayed in New Orleans; this is very high; as in good. The facility is very clean and in excellent repair. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The complimentary breakfasts were excellent; great variety, and fresh.

We had a great experience at this Residence Inn. It's a good location, not too far from the French Quarter and has a lovely central courtyard with an outdoor pool. The suites were very nice and we liked having two separate bedrooms plus a large kitchen area. One tip: there really is no better parking option than the valet parking...

My husband and I stayed here the last 2 days of our New Orleans vacation last week. It is an ideal location. Near the convention center, Riverwalk mall, and the trolley. We had rented a Hertz car at the convention center location and when we returned it we were happy to learn the Residence Inn was just 3 blocks away....

The location is in the Warehouse District which was only a few blocks walk from public transportation and eateries. The WWII museum was just up the street which is a stop for the HOP ON and HOP OFF tour bus and since we booked that tour I was very pleased The evening reception is a nice touch with free food...

When we arrived late, we had the fastest check-in I have ever experienced. Senae saw that we were tired and asked us if we required anything right then. We said that we would like to get a bite to eat and she asked delivered or within walking distance. We said we would like to walk, she gave us a few...

The hotel was reasonably priced and room was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast included in the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. An excellent location for the cruise port but a taxi is necessary.

Was attending a conference and wanted a hotel that we could spread out & have kitchen amenities. Our room was fantastic! Spacious is an understatement...it was spotless & everything was in working order. What made this stay as amazing as it was however was the staff.... the Front Desk ladies were all friendly, engaging & helpful. Duane in the Gatehouse,...

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
