We always book La Quinta rooms as we are rewards members, but this room was a huge disappointment. We stayed in a King room on the 6th floor and the odor from the carpets hit you as soon as the elevator doors opened. There was...More
Centrally located in the French Quarter and walking distance to EVERYTHING you could want- drinks, restaurants, Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, and shopping. The hotel provides valet, which is mandatory and $30 per night, but after navigating the city it really is worth the peace of...More

Loved that this hotel was only a couple blocks from a park which had doggy bags for my dog. The staff was friendly and courteous. This hotel was also walking distance to the french quarter and other attractions.

La Quinta Inn And Suites New Orleans French Quarter Hotel New Orleans ,
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

The French Quarter is just two blocks from the hotel and the French Market is about six blocks - I personally feel very safe walking around the area, certainly during the day, its a busy area with lots of foot traffic. Late at night, it is always wise to be very cautious, here as in any tourist city. I think you will be very comfortable. We have a concierge desk and they will be very pleased to give you directions and assistance. We look forward to making your first visit to New Orleans spectacular!!! See you soon, Kathleen Young, GM
