I took my son, who is 11, with me on this trip due to it's proximity to the Insectarium and Aquarium. We parked across the street, paid public parking $39 for 24 hours. Would have like to order room service no information if provided or a list of nearby places we could order from. Slept like a baby...the beds and...

The staff is well trained and provided very good customer service. The valet service and personnel is spectacular. The breakfast service and process is a bit quirky but we enjoyed it and our stay there!

We made a last minute booking for 1 night. Staff were very friendly. Location great as we were able to walk everywhere and felt very safe even at night. The bed was comfy. Loved the original creaky wooden floor boards.

For what I paid I though I was getting a better room and this trip was for my wife B-Day and she wasn't even able to take a bath, the shower in the room was right over her head (in the ceiling) it was VERY HARD for her to take a shower without getting her hair wet.

This hotel is cool without trying. the staff is natruly part of the hotel and it feels like staying with friends. As soon as you arrive you feel relaxed. The people at the door are really good and so are the brakefast staff.

When we checked out they tried to charges us for beverages we hadn't ordered, we protested, they said the charges would be taken off. Instead and extra $70 was charged to our credit card. There was no window in our room, claustrophobic!

From the moment you're greated at the door until you check out, this swanky hotel delights the senses with lots of cheeky surprises. If you're looking for non-cookie cutter accommodations with an artistic flare, this is YOUR kind of place. The restaurant is a new fave in NOLA! The entire staff are engaging, fun and treat you with such a...

I'll begin with the positives. The staff is has the right attitude be it hotel or restaurant and the bed was clean and comfortable. Now, the first room I was assigned smelled musty and was quickly given another room. This one fell quite short of my expectations. Use the toilet paper to clear your nasal passages if you didn't bring...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
