Room was clean. Good breakfast. The restaurant has a nice view on the lake. The location is perfect for visiting Tikal. The air conditioning is a real plus! I read before that there is a lot of noise of the busy road to Tikal, but that is not correct. The road isn't that busy and in our room we didn't...

We stayed in this hotel for one night on our way to Tikal. It is located on the road to Tikal in the small town of El Remate which is about 30min from the 1st entrance gate of Tikal. The hotel is also a travel agency and as such they offer organized tours to Tikal. The hotel has a restaurant...

Room was clean. Nice deck overlooking street. Restaurant was good. Staff was nice. With enough English for us to get by. Breakfast included with stay. Had not booked ride to Tikal before arriving in El Remate. Was able to do so at Hotel.

Everything is great in this comfortable Hotel. Rooms are big enough and always clean and fresh thanks to its air conditioning system, necessary for Peten's heat, a feature you will love specially if you come from Europe! I should recommend the food from the restaurant!! quite delicious and its menu has a wide variety available. The first time I was...

We stayed just the one night at this hotel and probably would not stay here again by choice. The room wasn't very clean we had to ask for a new towel as it was dirty. One of the beds in the room still had hair and other stuff from the previous guest. The beds also were not very comfortable. Would...

We stayed here before going to stay one night at a hotel closer to the park. As it turns out this is ideal for Tikal visits - whether day trip or sunset/ sunrise tour. The shower is great and the a/c and fan is perfect for returning to. We hired a driver to take us to Yaxha and this service...

Great value for price. It was really cheap. There were no hot water in shower, but who would need it anyway even in January, when outside temperature was +26-28 :-) No A/C in our room, but we've got a fan, which was quite enough to make room comfortable in the evening. I was a little bit concerned regarding the noise...

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Las Gardenias. The room was clean, the AC worked great, and the water was hot. The wifi was non-existent but we had read all the earlier reviews so we weren't surprised. What really makes this place is the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful. No English but we got by with...

This is the second time we stay at Las Gardenias. Peten can get really hot, so it is quite nice that the rooms have A/C. The restaurant has a view of the lake and the hotel has wifi. It is on the side of the road leading to Tikal. it is very reasonably priced. Relative to hotels in the US,...

During family trip, we stay in this hotel one night. It's Friendly family hotel that's run business with a travel agent , internet , shop, great reasonably priced restaurant with lake views. They speak English a little but we manage . The food is not great. The beds really comfortable in the large clean rooms. One tip take the rooms...
