    Cant say enough good things about Custer State Park & the Game Lodge. People are friendly & helpful.Food is Good. Location is perfect for hiking and the Black Hills. Quiet for those without kids. We would definitely stay again.

    The motel no longer accepts pets (boo), so booked a two bedroom cabin to the west of the lodge, backing up to the creek. Consider this a winter review. Cabin clean and serviced daily. Large common and dining/kitchen room stocked with all the kitchen gear....More

    Yes, this is the newer property just to the east. Doesn't connect to the original lodge.

    Custer is about 45 minutes from Rapid City. It is very easy to see Mount Rushmore, the needles, Crazyhorse in one day. Definitely do the wildlife loop! I know the cost is high but the jeep tour is fabulous!! In terms of the... More
