We stayed here for 4 nights and wanted to get a cabin/rustic feel of the great Midwest/mountain area. The cabins were like old school cabins from the great west, but had up to date amenities from the past and present. There was a fire pit...More

We stopped here, as other reviewers did, for lunch as we were touring the park and surrounding area. The log cabin lodge was very cool. We were there about a week before the lodge shut down for winter and the restaurant offered what they said...More

My wife and I stayed in one of the cabins for 3 days. The decor was rustic and homey. Very clean and well-appointed. Convenient to the Custer State Park wildlife loop road and Wind Cave N.P. Scenery nearby was spectacular.

Stopped here for lunch as we toured the park. Great atmosphere, food and employees. Beautiful setting also. The walls of the restaurant are beautiful logs with lots of mounted animals. If you don't see them in the park, you'll see them here!

The fire pits have grills. You can use from the room (Provided for inside fireplace). If you need more wood, the adjacent general store sells it. The only thing they don't sell is lighters/matches. Odd to have fireplaces... More
