Just off Hwy 385, the park was away from traffic enough to be quiet at night. Smaller with a just ok shower area, small laundry and store, it was perfect for the time we spent to see the sights around the Black Hills.
Two days after booking a week stay, we-received word my mother was dying at home 2200 miles away . we needed to cancel four days before arriving to Custer. They refused any refund or even a credit for future. I would avoid this place like the hell it truly is.
Nice campground, large sites very nice setting and close to everything , great base for visiting Custer state park Very clean campground facilities seemed clean and well maintained close to town but tucked in so it seems your in the wilderness
We camped here for 3 nights in our Class A motorhome. Spaces were spaced a nice distance apart and very level and gravel. No cable and only 4 TV channels on Antenna. We didn’t use the bathrooms or laundry or any other amenities so I can’t speak to that. The Park is nicely…
The people who own this RV park are crazy. Literally, some psychological help is in order. They refused to let us check in early even tho our space was sitting empty. They refused to let us wait and demanded we drive back into town and wait in a parking lot. They are obsessed…
